So I recently received my order from the Stitch Itch by B and let me be 100% clear in saying the canvas she sent is NOT Zweigart.

It’s a very similar product, and maybe some wouldn’t be able to tell….but as a needlepoint designer that’s painted 1,000+ canvases I can absolutely tell the difference. If you iron this canvas on a terry cloth towel it catches on the fabric. Zweigart doesn’t doesn’t do that. It also feels rougher to the touch and absorbs paint differently.

Ultimately, I have no issue with the product... What I do have an issue with is selling it as something it’s not. This canvas is made in China, and I have more of this exact product on hand. (She also cut off the orange line so you can’t compare it, which is a huge give away) as the oranges on these canvases are slightly different.

I could have lived with all of this if 1) it weren’t misrepresented 2) I actually got what I ordered and 3) she didn’t make me pay more after “accidentally” sending out a discount code. The rumors about this seller are unfortunately very true. Can’t wait to see her ranting about this post on her TikTok!!!
