I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing a downhill since Alyssa purchased Rita’s. My first interaction with her I introduced myself and said I’m always there and she was incredibly rude but I let it go that maybe she’s overwhelmed. Now, I’m trying to get her to place an order of a canvas for me I’m trying to spend money at her store!!!! And it’s radio silence over email and Instagram DMs. Just tell me you can’t do it if you can’t do it.

They posted they’re hiring and I know someone who emailed twice- radio silence.

There’s never any thread there they used to blame penny linn because ‘they stockpiled all the thread for their opening’ ok that was months ago they still have no thread

I’ve spent thousands at Rita’s over the years, introduced friends to needlepoint and the store and now I have zero desire to even though I live 5 blocks away I’d rather find somewhere else.

Someone spoil it for me pls, I’m not a subscriber and still cannot fathom how there are any subjects left to make into bar carts!

just wanted to put this out there cause I have been reading online a lot of issues with pennylinn recently. I ordered two canvases as part of their recent Nancy Drew drop and placed my order minutes after the launch happened at 12 noon. I haven't had issues before with ordering from them but was super disappointed when I got my order and someone else's order and packing slip was in my package.

I reached out to their customer service and they did get back to me quickly but since it sold out they could only offer me a refund. I really did not understand how this could be switched like that so I asked them if they could just reach out to the person whose order I did have to see if they got mine. they said, and I quote "This doesn’t happen often where orders as swapped, but in the past we’ve seen where someone got another’s order but that person received their order correctly." I told them that didn't make any sense why do you print out multiple packing slips for a single order?? I also asked them if her order got packed and shipped out twice, why wouldn't there be two canvases sitting around that should be mine? if its sold out and I purchased two they should still be around somewhere. this also shows that this could and will happen again since they know about but obviously have not done a lot to fix it.

I just wanted to express my frustration about the fact that orders could be packed more than once but somehow I got an envelope addressed to me, with my order number on the usps sticker but someone else's order was inside the package. I didn't make the mistake here, my address was correct (since they say so many times about checking your order address cause they cannot make changes) but whoever they use to ship made this mistake and I just don't feel like they care. they did reach out to the person who's order I did have, but they got their order (or at least I hope they did and didn't just lie to keep what I ordered). with how much money the canvases are they should really ensure shipping is correct.

Has anyone else had a destash seller message them multiple times within an hour to get payment? I have sold canvases before and completely understand the frustration that comes with someone claiming and not replying for hours. I commented "Next" on a canvas and log off, not expecting anything of it.

I guess it was me saying next and then one other person commented after me. I didn't reply to her initial Messenger DM within 10 mins and the seller hounded me asking if I was ever going to pay. Lady, GM Destash says buyers have 24 hours to pay. I assume she was in a hurry since the second "next" was commented and then she started to ask about payment more ~strongly~ to put it nicely. I was annoyed by this and told her to just give it to the next person as soon as I saw it, within the HOUR (in honestly a nicer way than she deserved). She sent me a "Don't claim canvases..." cut off by the Messenger notification bar, then when I clicked on it to screenshot and report her, she had already deleted it, and now I am blocked. I would guess it was not the nicest because of how she acted.

In a different group, I commented next and the same thing happened, the seller replied to my comment then after 14 minutes she commented "still available!" as though I had ghosted her. There was no one even pending... This is a new phenomenon, no? It is not a direct claim so it is not like I am eagerly awaiting the seller to message, usually with "next" it is a gamble if it will even get to you?

I’m shopping market finds. Eh. I don’t mind printed but these look like home printer quality.

Has anyone else experienced. Some of the new designs and the wines I’ve done have all been printed (not knocking printed if done right). But the canvas is actually shredding my threads and leaving fuzz everywhere.

Has anyone else had this experience. This is not zweigart canvas. It doesn’t necessarily feel rough when you touch it but once you start stitching it’s a mess.
