Session help
I need help with a session and I dont know how to continue it from what I have currently
Eddit: sorry for the bad structure of my wording I'm not used to writing for other people and am dyslexic so its harder for me to structure in a way that makes sense to others
What happened last time was that the players got a not sbout a harvest festival that is happening soon in preparation for autumn and a more criptic one from a cult telling them about something thats gonna happen at the festival before one of the player characters (the player character wasnt there for the session so i used whats coming as a way to wrute them out the session) went to the library that is where theyre staying and then they got attacked and after checking on the character and thinking theyre safe they went into town to scout out the area and found the cult
For this session I want them to go back into the library and find the pc who went into the library and get them back from some cultists and now I dont know where to go from there, I'm thinking about sending them back into town to do some odd jobs and investigate some more but I dont really know what to do from there.
Eddit: to clarify I dont know what to do next and would like some advice as I dont want to skip directly to the ending of this arc
