My W124 200E 1991 has a rough start when it has not started recently. It's fine when it's been started and warmed up within a half hour/hour beforehand. Outside temperature does not make a difference, turns over first time. What could it be? I've tried adding injector cleaner and I'll try replace the spark plugs now. Any other ideas would be great!

200E 1991 90kW. (I know this also does not make much sense)

From what I understand online, this centre console with e/c and auto button is climate control/air conditioning, but this is not on the cars spec sheet. When I press the button, there is no cold air.
