Well, I did a thing, got the idea from Espresso Tonic drinks. This is definitely better.

KOMENTARI: NE
This should be sweet and a tad lemony, but all I get is citric-acid like, high astringency, sour.
Tried a few V60, switch, and AeroPress recipes, even espresso, a few different water temperatures...
Should I go coarser with a temperature under 85°C? Or finer with hotter water? I don't want to get it in the opposite (bitter) range.
I mean it should be Geisha-like, but the roaster didn't mention any florals...
There's a new specialty coffee place in Osijek, Croatia called Fildz (named after the slavonian fields). They roast their beans in Zagreb, and the bean variety/availability is seasonal. In the pictures, you see a 300ml V60 pourover (5.60€) and a Cappuccino with a nice latte art.
The coffee tasted like berries, I would rather say cranberry and Aronia (chokeberry), but I understand why many would associate the taste with black currant and cranberry. My palette isn't as developed as some super tasters and coffee tasting experts. I liked it.
My dad, on the other hand, took a sip and said something like "Ew, it doesn't taste like coffee, I wouldn't drink it even if they paid me." He's not into specialty coffee, he drinks instant with milk and sugar, sometimes Turkish with a lot of milk, and the instant cappuccinos. His cappuccino was rated with "fine, but lacking sugar, nothing special".
Bought two 200g bags of different coffees for preparing at home. 200g costs 12-15€ depending on the variety.
I hope they last, I don't have many places I can get freshly roasted beans without ordering online, Osijek is an option for 1-2 times in 1-2 months.

It seems that many people don't realize that one should remove the rubber part and clean both the inside of it and the plunger part that it fits onto. If not cleaned properly, you can get nasty smells, and it can affect your coffee taste. Maybe you don't have to do it every time you make a coffee, but if you use your Aeropress/Yuropress/etc often, you should clean and maintain it properly, including the rubber.
