Fiat coupé, an great idea ruined by football
The fiat coupé is a sports car created by fiat in the year 1994.
The car was designed by Adrian van Hooydonk, yes, the same of the 7 and 6 series from 2006.
The coupé is one of my dream cars mostly because of granturismo ( and honestly I like the blobby froggy headlights ).
But it had many problems.
Fiat was under the Agnelli family, that owned a football club. The family wouldn't give a single cent to fiat to make cars, because of their " football business"
So fiat while making this car, had to do it cheap.
For the chassis they used the one from the Alfa Romeo 155, that gave a great 70/30 that made the car barely drivable with a very exaggerated understeer.
And the cheap plastic made the interior a black slime, perfect for content farms.
