Help Identify Paw Print - Bobcat with Five Toes?
I'm in the West side foothills and saw these prints by our pool in the morning. I assumed bobcat but it seems to have five toes. There's no print going into the pool, only exiting. Then a trail of single prints, just over 2 inches wide, running about 30 feet before fading. My questions are: What was on the paw that left such a long trail after getting wet? Could the five-toed look be from a torn main pad and the print itself be blood? But then why no print entering the pool? What do you think?
