Is there any place for nerds in their 20's to hangout and meet people that isn't expensive?

I'm curious.

Sharing some random photos from our weekend. I had a fantastic time with all of you. My Dad jokes were welcomed too!

Summerhaven & Mt Lemmon 4th of July Parade

After a great experience last year, I went back to Summerhaven for the 4th of July parade. We arrived early to get a parking spot along the parade route. We spent the morning walking down to the Marshall Gulch trailhead. The new parking lot along the way is HUGE!

Take some time to get out of the heat this summer and head up to Summerhaven. There is so much to explore up there and all along the drive up and down the mountain. And remember to listen to the Mt Lemmon Science Tour on their free app. There is a sign near the base of the mountain where you hit play and it guides you along the drive.

Say you have a crack that looks like a staircase in your block privacy wall, that you can see light through...

Who do you call in Tucson? Structural engineer to assess it? Any companies for repair people have good experience with?

Tucson is better than people say in this subreddit

As a recent transplant from the East Coast, I’ve noticed people in this sub tend to be incredibly negative about Tucson. Honestly, I think some of you just haven't spent much time out East!

Tucson is beautiful, has a solid job market with several major employers, and doesn't feel nearly as run-down as a lot of eastern cities. I’m really enjoying Tucson and Arizona so far.

We have so much to be grateful for. Happy July 4th America from small town, Summerhaven, Arizona (Tucson’s 75 degree temperature escape)

Vail eccentricity

Why are so many people in Vail specifically phobic of 5G wireless frequencies? Some even artificial scents?

Bye reddit

So much negativity. Trolls. And that's if and when I post something in the "right" place where an "admin" doesn't slap my wrist.

Psych help

I -gratefully- haven’t been in this position before. I have a family member who I worry is going to significantly harm themselves.

Do y’all have recommendations for emergency psych in Tucson? Like in through the ER?

Thank you and hopefully I’m just worrying too much.

Edit to say thank you all so much for the rapid response! I will or I will help them reach out.
