Day ??? Of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns:???

(Image unrelated)

If you don't know me, then you don't need to worry about it.

I've been thinking about taking a break from the ranking series for a little bit.

I've been thinking of the series as a second job, instead of me doing a fun little thing in a game. Making me dread doing it, and putting it off for later, unlike early in the series when I did it more in the middle of the day and at earlier times other than 8:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

It's not like I hate the game, or I'm in a bad situation right now, I just want a break from the series specifically.

I might pop out posts every once in awhile, but I'm not going to consistently post for now.

I doubt I'll be gone for a super long while tho. 3 months max.

Why don't you post your favorite gun that I haven't ranked yet? I'll try to rank all of them (most definitely only off memory) and make a big post.

(to check if I've already ranked your favorite gun, just click my profile, click the magnifying glass, and type out the name of your gun. It'll show a post of the gun from me if I did it before)

Just goodbye for now. Thank you for all those who enjoyed my post, and hopefully you'll continue to do so when I start posting again. 👋

Day 166 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Alien Engine

This gun has high knockback and short range. Very short range. Very hard knockback.

The guns damage and thyroid is absolutely incredible, but the knockback is so strong, that it's the only gun where I complain about the knockback. It's so annoying to use this, and I have to get close up and personal like this is a melee weapon.

-20

Tbh the ammo isn't too bad, and so is the magazine. They just need a tiny boost in my opinion.

-.5

It is very fun zooming around when going to other rooms.

+3

The synergies are all incredibly fun... but it would be better if this gun had some sort of synergy that either increased the range or reduce the knockback.

+6

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking out of -0/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

This was, THE QUICKEST -0 OF THIS SERIES! I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS GUN AND I ABSOLUTELY HOPE THIS STAYS FAR AWAY FROM ENTER THE GUNGEON TWO!

I was seriously debating whether to skip giving points and just give this the negative enjoyability ranking and that's it. I genuinely cannot see how anyone can have fun with this unless they absolutely love going close range.

Day 163 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Triple Crossbow

This gun swaps between firing a spread of three bolts and firing single bolts that slow enemies down.

Between the two forms, the spread shot is more fun, and usable, but it's not too usable

+1.5

The ammo and magazine capacity is too small. The gun barely survived five rooms, and the only reason it did was because I kept getting lucky with ammo boxes. The magazine does match the three, and I get the theme, but that didn't stop it from being really fun when having to reload pretty often.

-3

It's synergy, triple sticky, makes it so it's spread form shoots bolts that explode when reloading. The other form does almost nothing, but I'm pretty sure that's a glitch because I could have sworn the other form can explode sometimes. I might be misrememoring tho. It's still much funner having explosive spread then a non-explosive one.

+5

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 3.5/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

I've been noticing I shoved +10 on a lot of guns, and I don't know why. In the moment, I'll feel like the gun is amazing and pretty fun, but then on a whole different run while grinding some money or something, it'll seem super boring or not how I remembered. I think I'll try to steer away and think a little bit harder, because seeing a +10 on every other post is probably getting on some of yall's nerves.

I was also thinking about doing the mimic gun today instead of this, but that would have been the easiest negative rank compared to every other gun in the game, so I might save that for a special episode where I rank all the extra guns like the mimic gun.

Day 162 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Evolver/ re-ranking: Charge Shot

evolves with every 5 unique enemy types the player kills. This changes its appearance, modifies its stats, and refills its ammo. The six evolutions, in order, are: amoeba, sponge, flatworm, snail, frog, and dragon.

*The amoeba fires round projectiles that deal 6 damage.

*The sponge fires sponge-shaped projectiles that deal 8.5 damage.

*The flatworm fires round projectiles that deal 11.5 damage.

*The snail fires a spread of three spiked snail shells that deal 11.5 damage each.

*The frog emits a red tongue which latches onto the nearest enemy, similar to the Abyssal Tentacle.

*The dragon fires blue flame projectiles which starts off slow and accelerates, dealing 37.5 damage. In this stage, the Evolver's maximum ammo drops to 150.

Like Gunderfury, the gun evolves even if it isn't being used.

_______________________________

The damage is really good on the final three forms, and the final form is super strong, but has a surprisingly Fast Fire rate, and it's slow starting bullets aren't even that big of a problem. The first three forms are kind of boring and don't only do anything special, and it usually takes at least two Chambers to get to the final form, but that's barely a problem.

+5

The ammo does refill after every transformation, but that only happens for transformations, and nothing else, but the ammo anyways it's still very good, since I don't have to be holding down the shooting button to be doing really good damage on the final form.

+3.5

The gimmick is really fun, and while the first three forms are kind of boring, the other three are still incredibly fun.

+5

It's synergies just affect how fast the gun evolves, which isn't really that fun.

+0

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of +10/10

The re-ranking for the Charge Shot is 7.5/10

(originally 7.8/10)

Yeah I just wanted to fix the ranking, because no other gun has this ranking, and it was bugging me.

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

I've been wanting to rank the evolver for so long, but I didn't trust my memory because it's been months since I last used it, and I just never got it as paradox, but luckily I finally got lucky today.

Day 161 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: MAC10/ re-ranking: Plague Pistol

This gun shoots a burst of four bullets, without delay.

The damage is kind of mediocre, even with the high fire rate it's not too good. Not really a good boss killer either.

+1.5

The ammo is too small, and it only takes one slightly big room to cut this gun's ammo from 600 down to 300. The magazine is also a tiny bit too small, but not as much as the ammo

-5

The synergies are fun, especially the one where this dual wheels with machine pistol, which makes this a lot better if that has its synergies, along with another Synergy that decreases the reload speed along with increasing the magazine and knockback.

+6

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 2.5/10

The re-ranking for the Plague Pistol is, 4/10

(originally -0/10)

I think I just had a unbridled rage towards the plague pistol at the time, and I always sold it before I could actually test it out again, but then I found it a little fun on another run, then tested it out on this run when I got it, and while it wasn't amazing, I definitely didn't deserve to go in the negatives.

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

the MAC10 felt almost completely useless. The ammo runs out too fast for it to be used as a room clearer, and the Damage isn't good enough for it to be a boss killer, and it's in this disgusting Middle Ground of too little ammo, and too little attack

u/1Dapy1 — 7 days ago

Day 160🎉 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Triple Gun

This gun changes forms depending on a the amount of ammo is left. Pistol form, Uzi form, and finally beam form. In that order.

The damage can be pretty good, no matter what form it's in. The beamform is definitely the best form, but clearing rooms with any of these forms seem pretty fun.

+6

The magazine for the forms are all fine, along with their ammo. Not too good, but not bad at all.

+2

The gimmick is pretty fun. I do wish I could use the final form more, because you only have very little ammo by the time the final form kicks in. Still pretty fun nonetheless.

+4

The Synergy that affects the gun, plant power, is only useful so you can use the final form a lot more, which is really fun.

+6

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of +10/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

I've only used this gun like twice before this run, and I have always been pretty excited to use it. It's one of those forgettable guns, only because I barely get it, not because it's bad or unfun.

u/1Dapy1 — 8 days ago

Day 159 of giving my personal Rank and opinion of random guns: Turbo-Gun

This gun increases damage and bullet size depending on how many times you can hit the reload button while reloading.

The damage can be pretty good, along with the size of the bullet being bigger depending on how many times you can hit reload. Pretty good.

+8

The ammo and magazine could be a lot bigger. Especially the magazine with its gimmick.

-5

I absolutely hate the gimmick! You have to press the reload button 15 times just to be able to one shot a bullet Kin on the first chamber! At least I'm able to two shot it on the first chamber, but later Chambers it starts taking three bullets just for one bullet kin. I can consistently get to at least 9 or 10, but on controller it's incredibly hard to stay consistent and get higher unless I take my pointer finger off the shoot button and start pressing down with that, which is a little difficult to do for me when there's enemies surrounding and shooting. I don't know if this is just as hard to use on pc, but it's really annoying on controller for me.

-5

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of -0/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

I do think the gun looks cool though.

u/1Dapy1 — 9 days ago

Day 157 of giving my personal rank and and opinion of random guns: Gungine

This gun gives a speed boost along with immunity to fire. It also refills the current magazine if reloading over goop. (aka, instead of losing X bullets in a magazine you gain them back.)

The damage is amazing because of the horrendously good fire rate. It's like the machine pistol times a lot.

+8

The fact that this gun could possibly have infinite amount of ammo for a whole run is amazing. Even the base magazine and ammo are pretty good without the whole reloading over goop situation.

+7

This isn't really a gimmick, but I'm going to put it in here as extra. Reloading over goop to keep your bullets, good and fun. Being immunity to fire is good, but not really fun, speed boost, fun.

+4

All the synergies are fun. One of them helps with the ammo by spawning puddles of oil under dead enemies, and then another increases the fire rate by a lot, and then another makes it shoot a spread of three bullets, but does reduce the fire rate. All amazing, all fun.

+10

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of +10/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

bug boots can essentially cause this gun to have infinite ammo.

(bug boots makes you spawn a trail of poison when rolling, along with giving immunity to poison)

This is the random reminder that my rankings are about enjoyability rather than viability. Yes I do mention stuff like attack and ammo size, but it's kind of hard to rank a gun on how fun it is without mentioning that kind of stuff.

u/1Dapy1 — 11 days ago

Day 156 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Void Shotgun

This gun shoots a spray of Six Bullets that have strong knockback.

The damage is a little lackluster, even if you land all the bullets. Also the knockback is kind of fun but not nearly as much as other guns.

-1.5

The ammo capacity could be a tiny bit better, but the magazine evens it out.

+0

It's synergy, iron stance is fine, but Void Corp is amazing. The only reason void Corp is fun at all in my opinion is because it makes both the void core cannon, and void core assault rifle circle around you when you're holding void shotgun, and shoot when you're reloaded. The Synergy is mostly fun because of void core Cannon. That's literally the only reason I find fun about the synergy.

+5

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 3.5/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

u/1Dapy1 — 12 days ago

Day 154 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Cold 45

This gun shoots bullets that freeze enemies.

The damage is kind low but the fire rate and freezing effect helps out with it a tiny bit.

+1.5

The ammo and magazine are pretty decent.

+2

The synergies are surprisingly fun, with one making yetis attack Frozen enemies. Another dual wielding it with the Colt 1851, and the other one increasing the shot size, and giving it a better Boost from snow bullets. (That last part I'm a little confused if I should count, but I'm just going to say that contributes to at least one point, and you can decide if that should count as the gun/Synergy itself, or just an item helping)

+5

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 8.5/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

To be honest I thought this gun was going to be a solid five or something, but then I got lucky with getting all its synergies and I found it a lot more fun. Maybe the snow bullets were helping too much, but who knows.

(for those of you who don't know, I don't count any bullet modifiers and any items that directly mess with how the Gun Works.)

u/1Dapy1 — 14 days ago

Day 153 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: AK-47

This gun is a gun

The damage is pretty decent with its high fire rate, but does fall off a tiny incy Wincy bit on the final chamber.

+5

The ammo and magazine size could be a little bit bigger, but it's mostly fine.

-2

The synergies are pretty fun, with one making it shoot oranges, and the other boosting its fire rate a whole lot, and finally, and least, being dual wielded with the jk-47.

+6

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 9/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

This is probably THE best "just a gun" gun. All the other ones are boring pistols and whatnot. The only other one I can think of that isn't completely boring on top of my head is regular shotgun

u/1Dapy1 — 15 days ago

Day 152 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Bait Launcher

This gun shoots out a large slab of meat that, when hitting something, spawns a heat seeking tiger that goes and attacks an enemy.

The damage is pretty good, and it's really hard to miss since the tiger's Auto aim. The charge time also isn't too long either. Also it's just fun to shoot slabs of me and make lions attack enemies.

+8

The ammo could be a lot bigger, and I also think the magazine could also be bigger by one.

-5

The synergy is pretty cool, with it adding cat claw bullets to the Tigers attacks, which are pretty fun.

+5

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 8/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

u/1Dapy1 — 16 days ago

Day 151 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Composite Gun/re-ranking: Boxing Glove

This gun fires high-damage bullets. When charged, it will consume two ammo and fire a higher-damage piercing shot. This shot will activate a blank effect when it hits a wall.

The damage is really good, and being able to charge it and launch a bullet that pierces and uses a blank effect is awesome.

+15

Ammo is very low. Magazine is fine, and isn't really a bother.

-5

The surgery isn't too fun, just making it shoot a trail of Fire, which is a little bothersome to me, but still fun.

+3

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of +10/10

The re-ranking for the boxing glove is 3/10

originally (8/10)

Yeah the items I got when ranking this was way too good and messed with the ranking too much.

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

u/1Dapy1 — 17 days ago

Day 149 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Morning Star

Targeting an enemy with the tracking beam for a short time will call down a large, high-damage orbital strike at their location. The beam persists while the trigger is held, and it will slowly move in the direction of the player's crosshair. The beam leaves a trail of fire wherever it hits.

The damage can be a pretty good, but a tad bit hard to aim sometimes, especially during bosses.

+3

The ammo capacity is fine. Didn't really think it was too good, but it's definitely not bad.

+1.5

It's Synergy gives this gun a damage boost, and strengthens the Boost by flipping a table, which increases the damage by 100% for a short bit. Decently fun, but doesn't fix the aiming issue or anything (the description of the synergy was kind of vague whether it affected the gun or every gun. I'm going to give it the benefit of a doubt and just assume it affects this gun only)

+3

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 7.5/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

u/1Dapy1 — 19 days ago

Day 147 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Megahand

This gun has two different levels of damage depending on whether the gun has been charged. It blinks and beeps while fully charged.

The damage can be decent, but I almost never use the uncharged form.

+3

The magazine size and ammo capacity is pretty good if you use charge mode only, which is exactly what I do.

+3

The synergies all give this gun new forms, which is fun for some of them, but most of them I find boring. Only like one or two, and they aren't insanely fun.

+3

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 9/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

This is one of the only guns I got the reference to without having to be told what it was.

Thankfully I like playing Smash Bros. (I played exactly one Mega Man game so I wouldn't call myself a big fan or anything.)

u/1Dapy1 — 21 days ago

(Late) day 144 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Shotgun Full of Love

fires a spread of 6 projectiles (two pink bullets, an exploding star, a candy, and two teddy bears) which have a chance to charm enemies.

The damage is decent, but the spread is a little too wide. The charm effect is perfect for the spread though, so you can hit more enemies possibly charm them.

+4.5

The ammo is too low. The magazine should also be raised by at least one.

-3

The synergies are surprisingly awesome, with one of them dual wielding with the shotgun full of hate, and the other giving it a orbital that can block projectiles and see inside chests.

(I know this synergy, 'unbelievably Charming' makes it so every gun/shooty pet is able to guarantee a charm, but I'm not going to count that part of the Synergy since every other gun isn't part of this gun. I am counting that this guy gets a guaranteed chance to charm.)

+5

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 6.5/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

Again, sorry for not posting yesterday, forgot again. I recently got another game on my switch and I was playing it and got distracted. Before I realized it, it was already midnight and I was tired.

u/1Dapy1 — 24 days ago

Day 143 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Gunderfury

gains experience and levels up with kills, up to a maximum of level 60. Experience persists across runs, whether the player dies, restarts, wins, or quits. After killing enemies and gaining enough experience, it levels up on the spot without any extra indication besides the bullets and the gun's appearance changing.

The amount of experience gained for a kill is equivalent to the enemy's maximum health. Players do not need to kill enemies using Gunderfury for it to level up; just having it in their inventory during kills is enough for it to gain experience. (I'm just going to be mostly talking about the final stage which is the final image)

The damage is absolutely amazing, but this gun does have a Too Fast Fire rate. I tap it anyways for enemies, but for bosses I shoot in 2 second intervals.

+9

The ammo is a little short for the final stage with how fast the fire rate is, but the magazine is fine.

-1

The gimmick is pretty fun, and unlike other guns, there's no way for it to go down a level or anything. All forms

were pretty fun to use, even the first form.

+5

The synergies are pretty awesome, and I would even say it is Overkill and unneeded for a gun as good as this.

+5

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of +10/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

I always thought the first form was supposed to be a cigarette, but then after leveling it up and getting to the final three stages, it completely stopped looking like a cigarette, and I got confused.

u/1Dapy1 — 25 days ago

Day 142 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Thompson sub-machinegun

This gun is a submachine gun

The damage is decent, but feels lacking on higher chambers even with the high fire rate.

+1.5

The magazine and ammo size could be a tiny bit better, but it's not extremely horrible or anything.

-1

This gun's synergy increases the damage by a little bit and turns the bullets into lasers. Not too exciting but at least it's something

+2

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of 2.5/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

To be honest this is the most forgettable gun for me, and I keep getting reminded of it every time I get it. As soon as I post this, I'm going to forget it again. Just like that one Marvel mutant.

u/1Dapy1 — 26 days ago

Day 141 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Science Cannon

This gun shoots a beam after a short charge up, and can inflict a random status effect.

The damage is a little good, and all these status effects can be really cool, but I feel like they're all wasted because I just shoot an enemy until it's dead, even if it has both burn and poison on it. Just feels like a waste of status conditions.

-2

The ammo is way too small, and should be brought up by a good margin. The gun doesn't really survive past a couple rooms because it just eats up ammo so fast.

-6

I don't know if I can really call this a gimmick but I'm going to. It having the ability to inflict enemies with every status condition is pretty awesome, but putting that on a beam seems to be a waste for some reason. I don't know what, but I just feel like that's the case. Maybe if it was an actual Cannon I would like it more, but who knows.

-3

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking of -0/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

Fun fact! This gun has absolutely no trivia in the wiki. (At least in the fandom one)

u/1Dapy1 — 27 days ago

(Late) day 140🎉 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random: Jk-47

When reloading, this gun puts the fear effect onto enemies and makes them walk away from you.

The damage is close to a starting guns damage, which it's fire rate definitely helps, but not as much as the AK-47. The fear effect also doesn't leave do too much in terms of fun Factor, because it's not damaging them or doing anything crazy. Just making them walk away

+3

The ammo capacity could be a tiny bit better, but magazine is fine, but not amazing.

-1.5

The synergies are kind of cool, and help with the ammo capacity by making it so you can walk over liquid and refill some ammo.

+4

I would give this gun a enjoyability ranking 5.5/10

Do you think differently? Tell me why.

I completely forgot to make a post yesterday, so sorry...

u/1Dapy1 — 27 days ago
