Modern humanity has 200 years to make the closest thing to a space marine that is possible.

Humanity is hell bent on doing this, everyone focused on this task alone.

We can use alternative materials/tools to go around the more magical scifi aspects of the space marine. A lasgun and a one-handed 50cal are gonna have similar effects. Let's not forget the high likelihood of humanity improving its tech in the timespan.

Second challenge: How might humanity outfit this supersoldier to be able to win against a space marine 50% of the time?

Modern Humanity outfits one person with all we can. What character can they beat?

Humanity knows the character the person will be facing, and will be unified for this one cause. Modern day 2026.

We have 30 years to select a baby, train it/give it surgeries/whatever, and find the right gear.

The gear must be things the person can carry. Raising the carry limit through exoskeletons is allowed, but no stuff like making an exoskeleton with the very specific use of picking up an anti-aircraft cannon, that cannot do much else.

What character can they beat 70% of the time? 50%? 30%?

I really wanna know what humanity can do to make a real life superhero...

Nobody told me about the difficulties of being an autistic writer

Saying what you mean is how I do it, but it makes my characters feel fake

Due to me not understanding how neurotypicals talk, my characters feel fake.

This also goes for inner monologue. I have to constantly revise and catch myself on writing it like I do it. My NT writer peers don't seem to have this problem, and I enjoy reading their characters for the most part
