G604 Light V1
Hi guys!
A couple of weeks ago, I posted a WIP of this mouse, and I was just waiting for my new cables to arrive so I could put everything together and test it.
So, after some time, here we are... G604 Light V1 IS WORKING!!
I've been testing it for a couple of days now, and I'll probably make a few more tweaks to the design, so I won't be publishing the 3D model just yet.
With this version, I managed to reduce the weight by about 2/3, and I can probably shave off a few more grams since I'm currently using the G903 scroll wheel. (My 3D-printed version is still too tight and doesn't scroll smoothly.)
Some adjustments I've already noticed:
- The battery occasionally disconnects, so I need to reinforce and improve that area.
- The scroll wheel isn't perfectly aligned. It works, but it still needs some fine-tuning.
- Some screw mounting points still need more accurate dimensions.
Overall, I'm really happy with the results so far! I'll keep you guys updated as I improve the design.
