ScribeAmerica NYC

I applied for a ScribeAmerica listing in Queens and submitted by video interview last Tuesday. They took down the job posting a day after I applied, but I check again this morning and a new Queens listing is up. I haven’t heard back from my original application. Does it mean they rejected me since if they are opening up for Queens again? Should I apply again?

Saba Cost of Attendance

I'm a US citizen who's considering Saba since it's cheaper than SGU/Ross/AUC. The website lists the total cost of attendance at ~$298k, plus ~$3.8k for first semester housing (I assume most students move off campus after term 1 to save on costs?)

Apparently if you get 3.7+ GPA or 510+ MCAT, you're eligible for $100k scholarship. I have the GPA, but haven't taken the MCAT yet (hoping to dedicate ~6 months after I finish my last prereqs). But if I were to get the scholarship, theoretically I wouldn't have to use private loans since the $100k scholarship + $200k federal loan should cover most of it. Worst case scenario, I can maybe borrow up to $20-30k in lifetime private loans (but this is tricky since my family is broke and likely won't qualify to be cosigners) which definitely isn't enough for SGU/Ross/AUC

Can any Saba students please share approx. how much it costs? Especially terms 1-5 on the island? How is aid/scholarship distributed? Any advice for students from low-income backgrounds on affording it is very much appreciated. I want to get a sense of what is realistic

Private loans possible without cosigner?

I have a 750+ credit score and my current income is ~$50k, so I’ll be able to get a Sallie Mae loan for Year 1 (I’m planning to keep my job while applying for the loan, then quit right before school starts)

My main concern is for years 2-4 when my income will be 0. Has anyone managed to fund SGU/Caribbean schools with private loans without cosigners? The federal loan cap is nowhere near enough for SGU, and I come from a poor family so I will have 0 support.

Alternatively, I heard no-cosigner multi-year private loans packages were more realistic for US MD/DO students (for example: ELFI)?
