I'm currently playing Pokemon Pearl, I've decided to spice things up by trading some mon from other games into this playthrough and am looking for suggestions based on the games I have at my disposal.

I currently have a complete copy of diamond so I can import from my gba titles which are: emerald, sapphire and leaf green and I also have a copy of soul silver I can pull from. I started with Chimchar and I'd like to keep him and I stumbled upon a shiny Bidoof which I would like to use as well. Aside from that I'm open to suggestions.

This is a mono black devotion list I've been toying around with a bit lately, I know it's probably not optimal but I adore [[Contaminated Ground]] and wanted to build a deck with it in mind, and with the amount of 3-color/affinity/tron decks floating around my local meta it and [[Evil Presence]] make an impact.

Notably I have no black sac players local so these types of effects are safer to main deck than they would be otherwise, I'd probably swap [[Trespasser's Curse]] to main board and side [[Evil Presence]] if it was. Honestly that might be the move anyway but I'd like to run it like this first because I think it's funny.

The essence of this is just resource denial via colour screw rather than land destruction as a way to slow the opponent down all while building devotion to black for a big gary or two, [[Chittering Rats]] and [[Hopeless Nightmare]] to deny draw and remove resources from hand and a couple [[Exhume]] to either res a Troll on 2 or bring back a Rat or Gary mid-late.
