It's IMPOSSIBLE without structure, part 1

Everything is structure... trees don't bear fruit out of thin air, there's a substrate, there's a seed, there's roots, there's a tree trunk, the ramifications... there's leaves and finally there's the fruit.
What do i mean with this?

You're not taking this addiction out of your life until you follow a certain pattern.

Addictions aren't just the fruit... there's a whole structure that's responsible for sustaining this literal cancer in your life.

- Social media scroll... what does it mean to scroll on social media?

R : Feeding your brain dopamine cicles from an algorithm... now what happens is your brain was meant to be USED FOR LIVING A LIFE... the moment scroll on social media your brain thinks you're living, experiencing.

This means that your nature will adapt to results with no input, and most importantly your mind gets used to being driven by it's impulses, dopamine spikes and tendencies based context, you literally lose the steering wheel of your own self, your rationality decreases significantly, you begin to slave away to auto pilot mode which connects you with your primal instincs, (procreation and survival), so now you're not acting, you're being acted upon by your survival drive... which means that you won't be able to resist urges for example, you're pre frontal cortex is down essentially, you're biologically positioned well enough to make decisions, you'll follow whatever your impulses are... that's the human instinct - whatever feels more real.

I guarantee you your brain won't be thinking about self development and how beneficial it is to get rid of this addiction, your brain is on survival mode.

So my suggestion is, cut off social media completely, I don't care if you have to stare at a wall, get a paper, a pen, write things down, mediate on your life, just DO NOT LET YOUR MIND LOSE IT'S STEERING WHEEL for tv, your phone or anything else that is not A REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE which is what your brain is meant for use.

Staying present will give you your own self back... You've been hijacked. this was part 1, like or leave a comment if you want more

Choice was never a thing, this isn't about you.

You didn't ask to be born, that already says a lot 1 - because you simply couldn't since you're a creature 2 - because it was never about your will ultimately, again since you're a creature.

So we are arbitrary beings, we make choices, yet those choices are limited to our given nature and environment and how those two connect... essentially no human would be the same if he could look outside of himself, but since everything we see, think and do is contained, sustained and driven by our biology, consciousness, nature, impulses, reference points, tendencies, nature potentials etc we can't help ourselves but to be whatever we are.

There's reality filters that allow us to digest reality, one of them is responsibility, the need to survive, you're dropped into this game and you're obligated to play it, your instincts, your environment, society metrics, the world... those filters can sometimes almost make you forget that this whole thing of existing on a ball of earth spinning around a ball of fire in the middle of an immense nothing... was never meant to be normal.

But the conclusion i get is : "this isn't about me" but simultaneously, why would whatever is this thing that created me and everything else put me here?

What is the effect for the cause of a consciousness that has awareness of itself and questions it's own existence??

What is this? Are we just marionettes of whatever decided to put us here?

I'm new to this, I want knowledge.

Today will be my last day drinking caffeine, I want you guys to tell me why is caffeine the "monster" you guys claim on this subreddit, what is your experience?

Why did it made you or your life worse?

So I've been abusing caffein for a while, i just saw this subreddit today and it had me thinking deeply on how caffein might be destroying me without me even noticing it... I've abused monster energy drinks since i was like 16... then I switched to redbulls (they have less sugar, taste better, better quality than those other shitty energy drinks...) then I starter drinking a bunch of coffee... the thing is : I'm young, I'm in top shape... I'm not addicted, probably am, but i can cut it off whenever i want to... I just like the stimulus, for example I like to meditate about life while drinking caffeine, idk, it's just something I do a lot, with redbulls or coffee. Plus I'm young, so I don't really need caffeine.

I had some real problems with procrastination for example and I think caffeine might have been a trigger in my brain, maybe (inflicting with sleep with deteriorates the brains general drive, probably messing up my nervous system, neurochemistry... probably lowering testosterone...) and I don't even need caffeine... it probably affects the lymbic system... which makes it harder to not be driven by present states... probably gives you brain fog... idk you tell me your experiences.
