Shooting sight trigger kit/owner issues

Just reaching out to see if anyone has had any issues with their new hammers in the kit. I picked one up at the last release and the hammer pin won’t go through hammer. It gets about half way through then gets stuck. I tried inserting it through both ends but I encounter the same issue. I tried reaching out to shooting sight but it’s the same conversation every time for the last 4 weeks. They ignore my emails, I call explain the situation, I get told they will replace the hammer and to email them with the request. This process then basically repeats. Just looking to see if anyone else is encountering this.

Botched bullet guide insert

So I tried installing a CSS bullet guide on my Vepr and the drill but ended up wondering. Now the tap doesn’t want to start. What are my options?

Confusion on which SIG 556 1913 adapter to choose

https://preview.redd.it/0gofzpyc7q1h1.jpg?width=5498&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=becb4d0e4626d281e434a1fab0b294d0d08f307a

Recently picked up this Sig 556 from an AK forum. Unfortunately the guy that packed it used literally no padding and the end plate/ sling hook were damaged/bent. I was looking to replace the buffer tube with a 1913 adapter and running a MI alpha stock. The issue I am encountering is which one to choose. The popular option seems to be the KNS one with the flange. Yet I see people encountering issues with the Detent spring. Ive read of people modifying the spring, using a end plate with the adapter, or using the strike industries 1913 adapter without any modifications. For those who have used a 1913 adapter, which adapter did you use and how was your experience? JS 22XXX serial number if that matters.
