Just wanted to share my sig556 because I like looking at it. Enjoy, cool community!

This gun gives me elite ball knowledge at the range.

I just bought a magpul ucs stock. It fits the look of the 556 compared to most stocks, and seems pretty sturdy. Would love to find a 556 folder lower for a good price. Until then ill rock this one.

In CA surrendered weapons can't be resold (or any of the parts). This one will be melted down, turned to confetti, or made into shitty shovels by some hippie artist.

I would guess the owner is likely getting on in years or has died. These guns were required to be registered at one point as 'assault weapons' and cannot be transferred within CA.

Have wanted one for awhile and I got one for an absolute steal today, in pretty good condition but has obviously seen some use. That said, no original paperwork, case, or box so i'm trying to figure out exactly which model/variant. I'm leaning towards a 556 Swat Patrol but I lack an extensive background in these older Sig 55X rifles. Any input is appreciated y'all.

Hey everyone ! I just bought my first SIG I always loved this look and I was wondering if there’s any other modifications or something I should look out for in this platform. Currently I installed the AGP folding stock and I had an extra Romeo 7 laying around and installed it. Any help would be nice
