Sometimes when we are under pressure we can narrow our thinking and make either poor decisions or operate in a more cliché way.
I'm aware of some artistic texts and resources that are intended to avoid this - for instance, Brian Eno's Oblique Strategy cards he created when under pressure recording for Roxy Music.
Nassim Taleb also can encourage a certain disregard for fragile conventional choice making.
Curious if anyone out there has other suggestions.
Any field welcome - psychology, academia, artistic, economic, history, etc.
After seeing discussion about Marquez putting psychological pressure on Bezzecchi at Assen, I was wondering what examples people can think of from his time in the various categories.
My right molars are not able to find contact - it's about 1cm, half an inch.
I am looking into finding a physio / chiropractor type who might be able to manipulate my jaw back into place.
In the mean time I was wondering if anyone has techniques that are worth trying. The main YouTube suggestions are either for jaw locked shut or the more dramatic fully open lock, where the TMJ fully slips out of position.
Alex Marquez crash at Barcelona GP. Tire from his bike takes out Fabio Di Giannantonio.
Alex released from hospital on Monday with fractured C7 vertebra and collar bone.
Fabio went on to win the restarted GP later that afternoon.
Now Jorge seems to be back, this documentary shows him at his nadir, what he went through with those injuries and how hopeless it all seemed.
I know some people on here don't like him, but if you skipped this in 2025 it's worth watching as it gives his charge in Le Mans and potential championship victory a bit of extra context.

Say there's a synth decay that lasts for 1 bar at 120bpm, because of the ms value happens to last that long.
If I want to have the note happen twice inside 1 bar and decay perfectly within the length of the note, or have the bpm of the track change gradually, is there a way to lock the decay to these changes, based on quantize or note length instead of time?
Have watched this interview footage a lot of times. Never seen anything like it.
Edited from a longer documentary available online.
Also contains brief excerpts of interview with his defense lawyer.
