Zebralight SC70 Questions About Switch and Battery Check
I just received my SC70 today and so far I really like it. It just did something weird though that I’m slightly concerned about.
I had been using it for about 10 minutes, cycling different modes and playing around outside with it. I turned it off and clicked 4 times to check the battery and all of a sudden it wouldn’t turn on. If I held down the button it would seem like it’s trying to cycle modes but it kind of did nothing for the first two seconds and then high for the third second. A single click didn’t turn it on - only holding down the button and then it was just off - off - high after 3 seconds. It wasn’t in strobe mode or anything.
I unscrewed the battery cap and put it back on and now it’s working fine so far. Did I accidentally enter some weird mode that time I did the 4 click battery check?
I also noticed that the battery check flashes are slightly different than the other models. For high - 4 flashes, the first flash is kind of dimmer than the next three.
Anyone have this experience or know what I did to get the switch to go wonky?
