First time - what must we do?

Heading up to Eryri later this week with the girlfriend and looking for any advice on some great hikes, hidden gems, wild swimming spots and places we must see. We are staying in Gellilydan and will be travelling by car.

We both have great fitness, so would be keen on doing one or two longer days. I’m an experienced hiker, trail runner and scrambler and she has done quite a few mid - long distance hikes with me (up to 20 miles) but mostly on the South Downs and in Dartmoor so isn’t as keen on anything too technical/ scrambly.

Few suggestions I’ve received already:
Yr Wydda via Watkin Path and South Ridge
Tryfan (any route suggestion would be great)
Cadair Idris

Thanks in advance!

Question for UK - Cycle2Work

I keep seeing the saving of up to 42% offered on different websites, how do they work out how much discount you get?

If, for example, I got this bike with a 42% discount it would be a huge saving. How do I found out how much discount I would get? Is it only calculated after you receive your voucher?

I’m a trail runner looking to get into cycling to spend even more time outdoors.

I typically take around 60g carbs per hour on any run over an hour, going up to 80-90g in races.

What is the standard for cycling? E.g running most people would say 1 gel every 30mins or 5km (whichever comes first).

Thanks!
