ARE THEY REDUCING THE SEATS IN MAIN CAMPUS‼️??
[THIS POST IS JUST MY SPECULATION BASED ON THE OFFICIAL BROCHURE PUBLISHED BY MAHE ADMINISTRATION. NOTHING WRITTEN HERE IS 100% CONFIRMED‼️]
Seniors, please correct me if I’m wrong
So, around 5% of the total intake in each branch is allotted to Achiever Scholarship seats. Based on that logic
—> In 2025, the total intake for EEE at the main campus was 160, which meant 8 Achiever Scholarship seats.
But in 2026, there are only 5 scholarship seats listed. Does that mean the total intake has been reduced to 100 seats?
—> Also, since VLSI, Instrumentation, Biomedical, and CPS are being merged into EE, the total intake for EE should technically have been around 280 seats (14 scholarship seats).
However, this year EE only has 220 seats (11 scholarship seats).
—> Similarly for Mech , if Mech + Auto. + Industrial are combined, the intake should have been around 260 seats (13 scholarship seats).
But for 2026, Mech only has 220 seats (11 scholarship seats).
And why are they increasing seats in the Bengaluru campus😭, CSE intake has gone from 920 to 980, ECE from 60 to 100, and they’ve also added MnC and CSFT there 🥀.
So now I’m confused whether I’m interpreting this incorrectly, or if they are actually reducing seats in the main campus 💔.
