can i get Mathematics and computing in bangalore campus?

admissions team said they will consider improvement exam score but is it worth even telling them…. got 94.75 😫😫😫 i’m still band 9 right, would it even matter if i improved😭😭😭😭

12th full, ktg, thermo, solids, fluids, thermal prop, waves, SHM, grav.

got 105 in p1

Can any ai and robotics enthusiasts as well as seniors help me gather info on this course? How are the placements and what is the future of this branch? What types of companies hire? what are the internship opportunities in 2nd 3rd and 4th year As well as avg or median package after 4 years( realistic)

MET Phase 1 : 165 marks | BOARDS (PCME) : 89.25% (so band 8 Ig)

if not through this, how much should I score in MET 2 for safe CSE (Core CSE I mean)

I'm currently looking into MIT Bangalore (specifically for tech branches like CSE/AI) and wanted to get some raw, unfiltered insights from seniors who are currently in their 3rd/4th year or just graduated.

I’ve seen official PR articles and conflicting opinions on this sub. Some say centralized placements with Main Campus saved the initial batches, while others mention that the campus is moving toward independent placements now.

Can any seniors shed some light on these specific questions?

Big Tech/FAANG Presence: Do top-tier companies (Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc.) actually hire from the BLR campus on equal footing, or do main campus students get heavy preference?

Decentralization: How is the transition to an independent placement cell going? Are Bangalore-based companies actively visiting the campus?

The Stats vs. Reality: What does the actual median package look like for CSE/ECE? Is the placement percentage healthy, or are a lot of people struggling to get placed due to the current market?

Is it worth ₹30L+? Looking back, do you feel the massive fees are justified by the opportunities and exposure provided here, or would you recommend looking elsewhere?

So I’ve got 80% in boards. How much should I aim for in met for cs/ece in main campus or should I drop hoping for main campus entirely?

I attempted MET session 1 and i might get cse in the main branch but im kinda confused if I wanna study there because the fees is almost 30 lakhs so I'm considering of applying to Anna university (other state category) because the QS world ranking is good and I also have a strong chance of getting in. Can you guys please let me know which is better?

Guys can i apply for re evaluation and in best case if 1 marks increases in re evaluation,will they accept?assuming my re evaluation results come under 2 weeks?
