what are the possibility of branch upgrade after 1year and is it worth it??

I'm from UP and going home for diwali is non negotiable for me. Can't skip diwali anyhow. So when y'all book tickets and there are no diwali holidays so how y'all manage to take leaves? Do you just bunk classes or take leaves?

I wanted mechanical but I'm getting civil at 13.6k rank and mechanical closed at 13.1k this year , is there any possibility for such an upgrade either in r4(if it happens) or intra round . Also , are there any upgrades based on the cgpa of 1st year?

If in case there is any r4 conducted after 20th and we withdraw our seat which we got allotted in r3 can we still appear for r4 by paying 10k again or will we be treated as withdraw candidate? Pls help

I got BLR cse.But my end goal is to get into iim through cat.Studying mech in manipal helps me to get diversity points(core).The placement in manipal for mechanical last yr was better than eee and stuff.Is it better to choose mechanical over cse banglore as fees is also less and more exposure to consulting firms as backup

Hi everyone,

I was holding a General Category seat at MAHE Bengaluru (MIT Bengaluru) and had already paid the fees.

Yesterday, I was allotted an AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) seat. As instructed, I emailed btech.counseling@manipal.edu to accept the AICTE TFW seat, and they replied with:

• The fee transfer from my General Category seat to the AICTE TFW seat has not yet been reflected on the portal.
• My portal still doesn't clearly show that the AICTE TFW seat is confirmed.

I wanted to ask:

1. How long did it take for your fee transfer to be processed?
2. Did your portal get updated automatically, or did you receive a separate confirmation email?
3. Is there anything else I need to do after sending the acceptance email?

If anyone has gone through the same AICTE TFW process at MAHE, I'd really appreciate your experience.
