I agree with this when looking from an industrial perspective, which basically thrives on insecurities of women and the global idea of attractiveness.
Although this doesn't change the fact that women can wear anything they want!
Glorification of certain types of clothes is indeed there just so that women can feel that they fit the global criteria which is, to some degree is heightened by the industries.
I personally feel that both sides of people can be "brainwashed", either they dress modest, conventional and lowkey or bold, outgoing and even funky for that matter. And neither of them is "wrong", it only becomes wrong when the individual is forced to do/wear so.
Guttt mooonin!
This is a calf btw, not a cow.
My priorities are:
Decent ROI, should be kinda worth it financially. (Calculated including tution fees, hostel and mess)
Good placement opportunities (Allowed to sit with the same companies as CSE students).
Not very Hard that it becomes very difficult to manage CGPA and Skills/Coding. (I'm an average student)
Overall a nice College life.
Which clg (Bangalore or Manipal main campus ) and branch will be closest to my expectations??
If we truly believe in empowerment and equality, then it’s important to encourage the women around us to explore a wider world of ideas, stories, and perspectives beyond the repetitive “saas-bahu” drama cycle that television often pushes.
Entertainment isn’t wrong, but when the same stereotypes, family politics, and emotional manipulation dominate what women consume every day, it limits how they see themselves and the world. Feminism is also about intellectual freedom giving women space to engage with content that inspires curiosity, confidence, creativity, financial awareness, science, travel, history, fitness, careers, or even just healthier and more meaningful storytelling.
The goal isn’t to shame anyone for what they enjoy, but to make sure women are seen as individuals with limitless interests, not just as people whose lives revolve around domestic conflict and sacrifice.
