What's the longest possible unbroken megacampaign ?

I recently did a CK3 to HOI4 megacampaign as Armenia, and had a grand old time. I promised a friend that for my next megacampaign I'd start in Imperator, and that got me thinking : how long can I make a megacampaign without ever skipping a year in the converter ?

My current plan is as goes :

  1. Imperator : Rome with Timeline Extender : 304 BC / AUC 450 -> 361 AD / AUC 1114
  2. CK3 Fallen Eagle : 361 -> 11/11/14444
  3. EU4 : 11/11/14444 -> 1836 (playing past end date)
  4. VIC3 : 1836 -> 1936
  5. HOI4 : 1936 -> 1950

That's 2254 years of playtime, not bad.

I have three main questions :

  1. Is there an IR mod to play before -304 while still being compatible with Invictus Timeline Extender ? I know there are a few earlier start date mods, and I'm ready to get my hands in the mod files and manually fix stuff, but being a complete novice on IR, I have no idea if any of it will work even with jury-rigging on my end.

  2. In my previous megacampaign HOI4 was quite boring with only generic focus trees and only one country ever declaring wars, which meant world tension was stuck in the 0-3 range. Is there a HOI4 mod that makes the gameplay meaningfully interesting past 1950 without having to manually assign custom focus trees to every country on the map ? Moreover, is there a way to reach 2200 for the stellaris start date so I can die before finishing the campaign ?

  3. Has anyone ever tried something like this ? If so, any tips or recommended mods ?
