Progressive insurance a 50/50 claim
Please give some advice about my 50/50 claim case.
The car accident happened on April 15, 2026, on US-50 heading west in Sacramento CA. My car was in the right lane, near the exit ramp. Suddenly a white truck with a trailer pulled out of the exit ramp lane into my lane and bumped my car’s front part above the front right tire on the passenger side. We pulled the car to the triangular area between the exit ramp and the highway. The other driver acted decently to admit he didn't see my car, then let me take his driver's license and text me his insurance policy-didn’t ask for my insurance policy or driver’s license. The thing seems pretty simple. I filed a claim with his insurance company-Progressive Insurance.
Now after 3 weeks the Progressive’s adjuster told me that he finalized liability at 50/50 with both drivers sharing negligence for this loss.
Any advice for the next step?
