Wins in the first half of 2026!

We have officially made it halfway through the year! What are some wins either at work or outside of work you are proud of?

For me I worked my ass off and have pivoted to a new area of business and out of a manager role! 🎉

The hours of research, networking, interviewing, and loaning in have been worth it to make a move to a tech role in CRM. No more being responsible for other adults getting their work done!

Will a ticket for illegal window tint and front license plate missing affect my rate?

My rate renews in November. Will getting a ticket for an illegal window tint (not windshield) and front license plate missing affect my rate? I don’t think it adds points to my license. I live in VA.

CGA Mistake Question - SC

Hey yall, so for brief context I’ve worked here for over a year. I originally started in PA as a CGA, then transferred to SC for family reasons at the beginning of May this year.
Still a CGA.

I’ve never had any issues or anything before but today I got an email from an atty saying they haven’t received any contact about their UIM demand. It was then I realized the email with their demand came in at the end of May with a three week due date for review (aka middle of June).

I uploaded it to the claim, apologized to the attorney, and then sent notice to my supe and took accountability. My supe mentioned in SC it’s a big deal but not to worry about it and we’ll talk in 10 days (they’re going on vacation).

I’ve convinced myself I’m getting terminated. I’ve been working to get promoted and such, and I worked so hard to get this job but now it feels like I failed myself because either I just missed the email, read it and got busy with another claim/call, or just neglected it bcz I thought it was an error since I’m not an injury adjuster.

Anyone else experience anything or know anything that could help calm my nerves this holiday weekend? Thanks 😭

Coco (Conversation Companion) rollout?

Anyone know when CoCo will start rolling out to services and sales? Is anyone testing it yet or is it still too early for that? I’m looking forward to it helping me on my calls.

I am in PAA Property.

New Vehicle Insurance Verification (NC)

I recently purchased a new vehicle in NC

Showed the dealer my existing policy with Progressive and they said I had a 30 day grace period to add the new vehicle to my existing policy. Progressive's website says the same thing: https://www.progressive.com/answers/adding-a-car-to-insurance-policy/

I added the vehicle to my policy ~20 days after purchase.

I got a letter from NC DMV that I need to send the insurance verification form (FS-1) to them. Progressive is refusing to date the FS-1 form to the date of purchase, only the date that the vehicle was added to the policy.

NC DMV is threatening a plate revocation & penalty for lapse of coverage. Why would Progressive's website say I have a 30 day grace period to add the vehicle but refuse to show that I had coverage?? I've spent hours on the phone with Progressive, DMV, and my dealer but seems Progressive is being the problem here. They saying I needed to add the vehicle before I even drove off the lot even though I provided the dealer with proof of insurance for my other vehicles.

Total Loss

My son’s car was a total loss and the valuations came back with a base model automatic, not an RS, turbo charged, 6sp manual in excellent condition and hard to find. I declined the offer, will a new valuation be prepared on the correct trim package? How is that handled? Thank you. Just a momma.

Can I split payments?

My renewal period is coming up next week. (Due the 11th). But I’m not gonna have enough. I know there might be a late fee and I’m fine with that. But can I make a split payment, one next week and the rest the week after? I’m not paying in full, doing the monthly payments. Is there a way to do that?

Text message alerts

How come we don't send out text message alerts? If our customers don't read the emails or the letters we send, why not opt for blaring alerts on the app like an amber alert ... policy near cancelation, fill out your forms, etc..

Just had a quick question about the hiring process

How many people do they hire at once for a single position?

So I am looking to apply for progressive for a claims adjuster trainee.

When a Job positions is listed Are they usually hiring more than one person for that position?

I’m only asking because I assume in the training there’s more than one person. Right?

Can't apply

I've been trying to apply for about a month and when I get to the submit page it says telentfy or what ever it's called had an error and won't let me submit.

I remember applying last year year and got denied. I reapplied using a different email and I was caught and denied. Didn't even make it to interview stage second time

Is there a chance I've been black balled and cant apply?

Live interview went amazing

Had my live interview and I felt very calm and confident during it. (Claims Adjuster Trainee)

The Hiring manager explained the job duties and the training schedule and what hours I would be working. And what location I would be working at. (During office days)

Then asked me some star question about how I handle stressful days and how I handled angry customers

I feel if I could go back in time I could not have done any better then I did.

Quick question though, Do they always go over all of the training info and schedules during every interview? Or is that a good sign?

This Job will completely change my life for the better and I am ready for it!

Interview lasted about 45 minutes

Edit: At the end of the interview I was told I would hear something within 7-10 business days.
