I am a native Marylander, specifically from Howard County. Over the last few years since COVID, we have had a huge surge in population. Our once amazing schools are overcrowded and understaffed, especially special ed. The crime rate has increased to now include violent crimes and an overall feeling of being unsafe. Taxes have gone up, the cost of registering a car has gone up, electricity costs have gone up, and housing costs are impossible. Rush hour traffic now starts at 3 p.m.
I am a home health therapist and can find a job anywhere.

I would like to find a place with a similar vibe to Howard County 20 years or even longer ago. I also prefer the southeastern US.
