A bit more progress on my Castle Drawing

Derwent Drawing 72 set on Canson Mi-Teintes. I'm enjoying this project, but it goes slow, especially since I only work on it when I have some spare time... which is sparse.

2026 vs 2022

Just finished this last week. I first tried some oil painting back in 2022 (second photo) and didn't really explore it further until the beginning of this year. Back then I was struggling, but doing some lessons now sure has helped me improve. Interesting detail perhaps, the one back in 2022 was done with high end artist quality paint that cost 3 times more than the lower end artist quality paint I'm now using.

Anyone using Rublev watercolor paints?

For a while now I've been looking at these watercolors. I'm using to student and glorified hobby paints (Van Gogh, Gansai Tambi and Inktense paint pans), but want to try something different, better quality because I think my work deserves it. Rublev watercolor sounds really interesting because it's apparently closer to body color and is made differently. I like the idea of that, is anyone using them that wants to share their thoughts on the paints, I can seem to find many reviews.
