Do different cam sites have completely different “species” of members or is it just me?
I don’t know how else to explain this, but every platform feels like it has its own little member culture.
On Chaturbate I get more of the direct-but-vague guys. Like they’ll tip well, they’ll know they want something, but they also want me to read their mind through one sentence like “you know what to do baby.” Sir, I do not. I am performing, flirting, watching the room, checking goals, reading chat, and apparently solving your horny escape room at the same time. They can be generous, but the active reading takes so much brain power.
Stripchat feels faster and more chaotic to me. More “do this now / no not like that / wait turn this way” energy. Sometimes fun, sometimes like being remote-controlled by five impatient men with bad WiFi.
Private-based sites like SM feel more like patience games. More slow build, more talking, more “let me feel like this is personal” energy. Not always easier, just a different kind of draining.
Then on Bonga I’ve noticed a funny opposite thing. A lot of guys there actually explain what they want in detail, almost like they’re sending a project brief to a contractor. “First this, then after two minutes this, please say this”. Honestly sometimes I prefer that because at least I’m not guessing the whole time. But a few are clearly using translators, so then it becomes this little puzzle where I’m trying to understand the exact tone they meant. Like okay, are you asking for a pose, a roleplay line, or did Google Translate just invent a new kink?
Do you ever notice different “types” of members depending on the platform too? Any archetypes or stories that deserve a name? I feel like we need a field guide at this point.
