First time in the centre for a while and oh my, how long has it been this depressing

Popped into the city centre today as I'm off work and can't drive so took the bus, I'd usually go to the mall for shopping as it's easier to get to from the ring road for me and free parking is a bonus.

I was astonished at how derelict the whole place was. Now I know the galleries is due to be demolished and Broadmead had seen better days but half of Cabot Circus was boarded up too. Having spent a weekend in Liverpool a couple weeks ago the difference is incredibly stark. What's happened to our city?

Anybody do their AM2 at the Newport centre?

Myself and all the lads I work with did our Am2 at Jeff Way in Bristol but one of the apprentices is doing theirs in Newport next week. Obviously everything 'should' be the same regardless of centre but that's not always the case.
