So after now going through every possible fix for stalling I finally discovered the issue.

I have done:

Fuel Filter, Wires, Plugs, New Air Cleaner Gasket, new IAC, New Cap and Rotor, New Fuel Injectors, New Gakset for the Throttle Body.

The issue is the Torque Converter. I just had the Trans rebuilt in February. I am so livid. This most likely means they skipped out on the Torque Converter because theres only 2k miles on the new transmission. Im gonna have to use the warranty on this because its crazy.

I replaced fuel injectors in my 1988 dodge dakota and theyre seated properly but the truck stalls after stopping at a light/stop sign then accelerating again. I did spark plugs, wires, fuel injectors, cleaned the throttle body, and a new fuel filter, however the truck keeps stalling after I come to a stop then accelerate again.

Today I really made sure the injectors were seated properly and they're perfect now and the truck drove for about 30 minutes at 25-30 mph, with stopping at lights and getting going again no problem. However it then started dying out again.

Im thinking its the IAC but is there anything else it may be?

88' Dakota: I replaced the Fuel Filter, Both Fuel Injectors, the paper gasket between the manifold and the throttle body, then drove the truck around for a few minutes, put some gas in it and added STP Fuel injector/System cleaner to the tank. Now the truck stalls when I brake but not consistently its sporadic.

I took my 88 Dakota 3.9l V6 on the highway and pushed it to about 85 mph and then it lost acceleration, then stalled out when I got off the highway. Then I started it back up and it backfires now but still drives. Backfiring only happens when I push the accelerator far down
