Help!!!! Plz!! F2 FUSE

Help!!!! Plz!! F2 FUSE

Need some help with a DS Lite F2 fuse issue. I attached a picture of the area I’m working on. I’m not getting any continuity from the F2 fuse and wanted a second opinion before I go any further.

Pretty sure I caused this myself. I replaced the bottom screen and didn’t add backing/electrical tape to the back of the screen.

Does everything in the picture look correct or am I missing something obvious? Also, if the F2 fuse is dead, is it possible to bridge/jumper over the fuse or would I need to completely remove the fuse first before doing a bridge?

I’ve been reading mixed info online so I’d rather ask people that actually work on these boards. Any troubleshooting tips or things I should test next would help a ton.

F2 fuse?

Need some help from the DS repair people lol. I replaced the bottom screen on a DS Lite. After I put everything back together it actually cut on perfectly one time. Both screens worked and I thought I was in the clear.

Now it won’t show any life at all. No green light, no flash, nothing.

I been reading online and seen people talking about the F2 fuse being blown. Does that sound possible? I’m still learning repairs so any info helps.

Hey everyone,
I’m in the middle of trading for a Nintendo DSi and wanted to get some opinions before it arrives

The current owner says the only issue is that the left and right triggers are iffy and bulged

I don’t have it in hand yet, but my first thought is it could just be a reshell issue—like the buttons not lining up right, springs out of place, or maybe the rubber contacts aren’t seated properly.

For those of you who’ve dealt with this before:

Does this sound like a simple reshell/alignment fix?
Or is it more likely worn-out tact switches that need replacing?

Could it just be dirt/grime inside the triggers?

Any quick tests I should run as soon as I get it?

I’m comfortable opening it up if needed, just trying to figure
out what I might be getting into.

Appreciate any advice 🙏
