Recently started my journey on becoming an "Olympic" sports shooter.

Recently started attending bullseye/sport pistol practices at the gun club. I also plan to compete in sanctioned SFC matches as well. This is the gun that I've chosen to borrow from the club in the meantime. It's a Ruger Mark II Target. The gun belongs to the club but I will stick to using this exact model every time so I can build familiarity with it.

Hopefully by the end of the year I will have accumulated enough practice sessions and matches to get an exemption letter so I can buy my own "Olympic" style handgun.

I know the state of firearm laws in Canada are trash at the moment but I will continue to enjoy the sport/hobby any way I can.

Has anyone dealt with purchasing firearms online or in person from Sporteque?

So I found a really good deal on a gun that Sporteque has listed up on their site. I would have to do shipping since I'm in Ontario and their store is in Quebec.

I'm just concerned cuz I looked at their Google reviews online and they're averaging at just 4/5 stars currently. There's quite a few negative reviews.

I'm wondering if anyone has dealt with this retailer recently. Thanks.

Georgetown, ON Canadian Tire is hiring for a pro shop associate who's knowledgeable with firearms and hunting.

If anyone is looking for full time work right now and lives in Halton/Peel region in Ontario. The Georgetown Canadian Tire is hiring for a new pro-shop associate who has experience with firearms/hunting. They want people to apply in person for this position though. I took a photo of the wanted ad at the store when I was there recently.

Mods.....feel free to remove this post if you deem it not relevant. Thanks.
