What tracks do you want to see on MM2? + An analysis of the information so far

As a track design enthusiast, tracks are very important to my immersion in the game. So I looked into what was shown and the footage we have so far is really promising. The tracks have more realistic run-off areas:

Singapore's turn 1 has a much wider run-off, compatible with the speeds we see through there. Many corners have received this treatment.

Also, pit entry/exits have been revised and look much better:

New Vancouver pit exit, now cars will have to follow a line going in and out the pits, causing less trouble.

According to the information we have right now, the game will probably include at least the 16 tracks from the original game, the 5 tracks from mobile games and a new Miami track. This brings the total to twenty two race tracks, which is pretty good as it helps to avoid the repetition of the first game.

Bringing motorcycles to MM is great, but where will they race? Many tracks are based on F1 venues incompatible with bikes, such as Black Sea, Cape Town, Doha, Monaco, Phoenix, Singapore, Sydney, etc. I know being unlincesed and sometimes unrealistic is a strength, but it would be quite jarring to see bikes racing on street tracks.

Big runoff areas on Stewart Island (which is based on Phillip Island, a motorcycle focused track)

With all of that in mind, here are my suggestions for new tracks:

  1. Buenos Aires (based on Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez);
  2. Circuit of the Americas;
  3. Fuji;
  4. Le Mans;
  5. Mandalika;
  6. Munich endurance (Nordschleife);

With these we would have bikes and endurance racing covered. There should be a system in place so that we don't see the WMC racing on the "Nordschleife" and the ERS prioritizes shorter layouts, for example, but I don't want to discuss that right now.

So, what are your thoughts? Did I go to far on my hyperfocus? What places do you wanna see in game? And, last but not least, what would be your ideal racing calendars?

All aboard the Blanc train!

Samuel Blanc had a 10-car train stuck behind him for most of the race and basically gave me one of the few double points finishes of the season, thank you!
