NEW 2026 POMS DI 27001.000 - Reconsideration Level HELP for applicants
TLDR: The SSA finally formalized the DDS requirements for the reconsideration. This includes de novo review of previous finding and no more insufficient evidence findings.
>
Claimant's rights during the reconsideration process
>The reconsideration process provides the claimant:
>• An opportunity to submit additional evidence; or make new allegations;
>• A de novo (i.e., new) review of the evidence considered in making the initial medical determination and any other evidence submitted or obtained;
>• A reconsidered determination based on all evidence of record.
NO more insufficient evidence determinations!!
>
Sufficiency of evidence at the reconsideration level
>Sufficiency of evidence must be considered during the reconsideration process. If the evidence contains inconsistencies or insufficiencies that are material to the determination, the DDS must complete supplemental development to resolve the inconsistencies or insufficiencies.
>
Consultative examination (CE)
>The reconsideration claim must contain sufficient evidence to assess impairment severity, duration, and functional limitations. If the evidence is insufficient or inconsistent and the DDS needs additional information to make a determination, they may purchase one or more CEs, even if the claimant did not cooperate with attending a CE at the initial level.
Storage Wars - Kennesaw edition
Damn. This is why we can't have nice things. Someone thinks Pacific Buffet's parking is their free storage unit. Free bird card. Pickup only. SMFH.
Banks accepting new accounts for MyRVMail address in Crestview FL
I'm already FT with an established banking relationship driver's license etc for my current state. However I want to change my address to Florida for multiple personal reasons.
My primary concern is with the current legal requirements associated with us Patriot act, know your customer and anti-money laundering laws.
I completely understand the issue with physical address and the benefits that this service has. I also understand establishing a domicile in Florida. I understand registration and insurance. I'm not asking any of those types of questions.
I'm certain that there are people that have existing accounts that were grandfathered in before these laws were passed.
My question is relevant to 2026 and opening brand new bank accounts. Does anybody have any recent experience with specific Banks that will accept this address for a full-time RVer?
I am absolutely the last person to ask for help but I need it.
Is there anyone in the area with a truck that can help me move a vehicle 200 ft to avoid a tow. I can't afford the fee or the impound. It's on flat ground and can go in neutral. I know for a fact it needs a starter and one has been ordered but will not arrive until Thursday.
I'm just looking for a Good Samaritan with a truck that can help spare their time for about 10 minutes. Location's just off of Canton road.
I'm in a bad situation and need help from the community. Is there anyone with a truck that can help me move a vehicle 200 ft to keep it from getting towed. It needs a starter which I've ordered but will not arrive until Thursday. I can't afford a tow bill or an impound. Just in need of some major help for 10 minutes.
It will go in neutral and it's a flat surface. Basically any truck with a strong rope is all that's needed. Please please please help.
