I’ve been looking to buy a large parcel of land in SE Michigan, hopefully with a house already on it. My kids and mom wanted to put RV’s out there for a couple of years while they save up to build their own little homes on the land. Apparently it is illegal to do this in Michigan, and many other states as well. How do people get around this? I can’t relocate them from Texas if there’s a chance they will be fined and forced to move. Considered creating a small private campground, and just use it for my family. But zoning is tricky to be able to have a home, a “campground”, and animals for my homestead. It’s starting to feel like a big mistake to make this move. But families buy land for multigenerational homesteads and start in RV’s all the time, so there’s got to be a way around all this…

So how do ya all keep medication that shouldn’t get too hot in a van that tends to get very hot sometimes. The fridge is too cold. Maybe something insulated?

I was thinking about the housing market and how a lot of people have taken the unconventional route and now are starting to make RV living their primary home.

My thought was a spin on extreme home makeover and pimp my ride. Where the concept of the show was to make a plan Jane trailer into some extraordinary mobile ish home. I'm I on to something?

Me and my fiance are wanting to move into a camper full time with our 2 kids to travel before they start school. We’ve lived in a camper before with them(stationary) so we aren’t worried about not liking it. Our biggest worry is income. How do you work or find a job that lets you travel full time? I’m a sahm but my fiance has experience in utility locating so it’s not a very travel friendly job. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!😁
