I ordered from a local restaurant the total with tip & fees, etc was over $100.00. The restaurant made it. The delivery person picked it up & I got the “heading your way” message. I paid for priority delivery because I hate watching them drive all over creation while my food gets cold. I checked the app & they were 1/3 - 1/2 way to me & then I got a message saying the currier cancelled my order. I never got charged but the restaurant completed their part so who gets the shaft? Does uber pay the restaurant? Does the driver get charged? I doubt uber absorbs it but I don’t know 🤷. Do you??
