I lose the pro shopper all the time because I have to give out refunds because these grown adults refuse to answer their phones knowing they just placed a shopping order where you’ll likely be contacted... and they NEVER put substitutions on the order
My niece sent my mom a birthday gift of donuts. The app showed that the order would be delivered at 4:55. I was at the door. No cars showed up, but suddenly the status changed to delivered. I searched around the house but nothing had been delivered. I tried calling the driver but he didnt respond.
When I used the help feature in the app. a live chat agent said that he would show me options and told me if I wanted a refund. I complained that my mom's birthday was ruined and was looking forward to receiving the gift from her grand daughter. The agent apologized and said he would explain my options when suddenly in the middle of the chat he said that there were technical issues and at this time they could not help. He said to contact them later and ended the chat. I tried later but the app asked me to leave a message.
This is strange and unaccpetable. What just happened? Is Ubereats always like that?
What can I do?
I paid extra for steak and the beef was also part of the order. The beef was virtually missing and I recieved 3 tiny pieces of steak not even the combined size of my pinky finger, and I have a small pinky finger. I went through the support system but all they keep saying is they are unable to process my refund.
I don't want to do a chargeback but how is that not effectively illegal?? I don't want to get banned on the app because I use uber eats several times a month but like, hello?
Is there any way I can reach a real person over the phone?

Our favorite restaurant we order from is now saying too far to deliver? Is that set by the restaurant? It’s 8 miles & we get further restaurants still. Can we do anything? I have 3 kiddos here & it’s just so much easier to have it delivered than to go pick it up, especially since parking is far away
I put in an order for Taco John's tonite.
On the website, they had a $9 Deal with a ton of food and a drink. Like an extra Taco and extra Burrito more than what the Combo has.
The combo was $13+.
Couldn't find anywhere on Taco John's on the Uber Eats app to order the $9 Deal.
I'm Disabled and Uber Eats doesn't have a discount for Disabled people. I need to get bargains wherever I can.
Does anyone know how to order those Deals on the app?

I’m not feeling well so I decided to order some groceries. As soon as it was loading it said it was delivering to my work address.. usually uber eats automatically has my location to know where to send it to so as soon as I realized I canceled it. I swear to you it was less than 3 seconds I cancelled it and they still charged me.. WHY? I contact support then they said how my issue is better suited to be handled by a specialized support team and it’s going to take 6-12 hours. Just give me the credits back man to order it to my house , WTF.
Quick rant here, but for some reason, when I’ve ordered a cola slurpee from a 7 eleven, it changes the store to another 7 eleven and changes the cola to an orange slurpee ?? I had to refund the first time which was difficult because my order receipt said orange but luckily it was resolved. But as I was trying to reorder I saw this? I caught it luckily and called the store so they wouldn’t give me another orange slurpee, but damn, usually I order more than one thing because I have the Uber plus thingie so I don’t have the extra delivery fee but now that I have to reorder I got to pay for a 12 dollar slurpee oh my god
Title pretty much sums it up I am just curious since I ordered a BOGO for my girlfriend and I after a concert but only half showed up. TBH I didn’t even care as much about the price as I did not getting the second half of what I ordered for us. Support basically didn’t care when I reached out and the photos I took were taken when the driver had left since I was at a hotel and an employee took it inside before I got down in the elevator.
