WWYD? Return or review?

Ordered a zip through hoodie for my daughter, all in it cost £7.19.

It was advertised as size Small (UK8-10) and in "very good" condition.

It's arrived and it is a size UK14 and has some marks/stains on the arms.

I opened a not-as-described case, kept it factual (I feel it important to mention didn't imply anything negative like the seller being a scammer or anything, just the size was wrong and it was marked).

The seller then quickly accepted a return.

...Now I know Vinted's rules are the buyer pays... but personally, in this situation, if I were the seller, I'd use the option to pay for the return postage. Out of decency. This was 100% seller error.

It was my daughters pocket money, and if I return, I'll only get £4.90 of the £7.19 back.

I'm also disappointed that the seller did not message or apologise at all (I know they're not obliged to, but this is essentially going to cost me money for their error, so a "sorry I didn't notice" message or something would've been nice).

Do I cancel and just bin it so that I can leave a negative review of this experience?

I can afford to write off the cost of the hoodie and replace my daughter's pocket money in this instance as fortunately it's not much.

What would you do?

Return and lose some of the money and sacrifice leaving a review as I am somewhat annoyed that it is clearly labelled a UK 14 and that listed it as an UK 8-10 (they did not picture the size label in the listing) and also a bit miffed that they havent offered to cover the return cost or apologised at all.

Or should I just write off the cost (it's only £7.19) and write an honest review something like:

"Item was not size UK8-10 as advertised, but was size UK14. Also condition was listed as very good but is marked/stained which was not mentioned."

...buuuuuuuut then risk them giving me negative retaliatory feedback?

(For reference I messaged once they allowed the return to ask them to please cover the cost as it is not my fault, but got no reply to this).

I have *never* in all my time on Vinted left a negative review, even when things haven't been perfect, which is why I'm asking here if it would be justified in this case.

Buyer opened dispute... AITA

I sold 3 pairs of ladies pyjamas as a bundle.

They were unbranded, lightweight, stretchy material, size Large.

They were listed as unbranded, lightweight stretchy material size Large.

Photos of all size labels included.

They were also listed as very good condition, as they were mine, but only used for a short period of time due to weightloss. I actually re-bought them in my new size as the fabric is lovely cool, stretchy and comfy, so perfect for Summer. I paid £12 each (£36 total)

I listed them £14 (for all 3 pairs) but accepted an offer of £10 (for all 3 pairs).

Packaged well and posted the very next day.

Got a message from the buyer - unhappy as she assumed they were satin?!

I told her I don't understand why as nowhere did I mention satin (I wouldn't as theyre not - they don't look it either so no idea why she said this) and that I clearly stated they were stretchy (satin is not stretchy) and that my items were as described so declined to accept a return - and advised her to sell on if they weren't to her taste.

She then opened a dispute saying she was unhappy saying they feel cheap and she doesnt like them, accused me of buying off Shein and selling for DOUBLE the price (she paid £3.33 a pair and they aren't from Shein but I've looked and nowhere on their can you buy ladies pjs for £1.67 a pair or anything close - most seem to be around £10-15).

THEN stated that she feels theyre mis-sized and dont actually fit a large and that's my fault too.

So essentially I'm taking from this she tried them, they were too small, and now she is throwing a dispute and accusations at me.

And to add - a Vinted Large is UK 16-18 and this is bang on the size I was when I wore them. I'm now a 12-14 and wear the exact same ones I rebought in a Medium, so it's not like they are an out-lier size wise.

Unfortunately all Ive managed to communicate with is bots so I'm awaiting the outcome but I know Vinted usually side with the buyer... hoping at some point a human sees it and sides with me.

Also I noticed that on the dispute she seems to have selected item "damaged" but theres no mention of any damage at all and they were immaculate and double bagged so Im assuming this is an error as she would've mentioned that.

AITA for refusing her refund request?!
