I've raised an issue with them but honestly I'm really sad cause I wanted these dungarees so bad 😭😭
Seller and i made a resolution agreement. We were waiting on Vinted for seller to do a partial refund. Vinted tell me I have 48 hours whilst I was on top of a mountain in Scotland. Unfortunately didn’t have the partially broken sewing machine to hand. Silly me
I just listed my first item, and got an email, not a message via app of someone saying they are interested in the item. Very much assuming it is a scam, but curious if it is real?
I opened up the inpost locker and i ordered a whole tracksuit but the package was very clearly a book.
I didnt even close the locker i sent photos to the seller and asked did she send it to me accidentally like this and she said no i sent it in a grey mailer. But this item was in a pink one. No worries I call inpost he checks some things and bc the front and back label match he said its not a mix up from their end the seller must have put the wrong item in the wrong locker. I contact vinted immediately and they ask for all the pics etc. I provide. Dont hear back but in the sale chat it says order cancelled and refunded and the seller messages me to apologise for the mix up. I open the book and there is a receipt in there with a name that matched her username.
Baffles me bc surely if she sent two things on the same day and one was a square book in a pink mailer but mine was a tracksuit in a grey mailer you'd know it was your mistake.
So now I dunno if she was trying to be dodgy and hope I wouldn't make a claim or what but the whole situation felt stupid.
Im glad from reading the endless posts in this sub about this situation I was able to fix it immediately and got my money back.
I recently have picked 2 relay parcels from my local shop, because it was too busy the guy always ask us to find the parcel by ourselves, both time there were more than 50 parcels in the big bags, I couldn't believe it how many people using vinted in my area, perhaps too poor here
Don’t get me wrong I like the idea but I don’t think Vinted is the appropriate place for that kind of thing. I thought that Vinted was supposed to only be for selling 😭
I suspect the answer is going to be that there is nothing I can do to help but let me ask. I bought a £10 item that was incorrectly listed and measured differently when it arrived. I clicked on a return asking for a label and the seller clicked on cancel but didn’t provide a label. I have had this before with cheaper items and assumed they just didn’t want to pay the return postage for a £10 item. But a week or so later they messaged asking why I hadn’t returned the item! I have said I would be happy to do so but strictly on platform as I don’t to be seen to share personal data in messages. They offered to send me postage costs but I am not sending bank details and then they offered to post cash for the postage, which seems odd for a £10 item. This is block and walk away time isn’t it?
Hi
I’m starting to sell stuff my ex brought me
check it out: rawr26
I sell lots on vinted without issue, unfortunately on this occasion I’ve had a parcel arrive damaged and the buyer reported it to vinted. After about a week of waiting the support has decided that it was damaged due to insufficient packaging. There isn’t a chance for me to appeal this and as vinted have the contract with the courier I can’t contact them myself for compensation. Do I have any grounds to get my money by pestering vinted support via email?
i bought a perfume from this lady and it’s clearly fake (no batch code on the bottle). i opened a request for a refund with vinted and she’s completely threatening me. i’m really scared what do i do? i’ve reported her but i can’t block her because the sale is technically ongoing
In a cute tiger print topshop bag. Bonus points there was also the foil for a bottle of prosecco
I've recently joined vinted so bear with me if I've made some mistake I'm not aware of!
I found a really cute vintage vest and thought I'd message the seller first to ask if it's still available.
(The reason I did this is because I ordered something else recently and was ghosted by the seller, my order got refunded, and then saw the item was already sold.)
The seller responded to me saying yes it is. Then when I wanted to buy the item I noticed the button was gone, and I couldn't respond to the conversation anymore either. Most results online seemed to indicate I've been blocked?
Anyway cue hours later talking to a friend about it, he said he'll order it for me.
He places the order, it gets instantly rejected by seller, who gave the reason that it "seems like a scam".
Then the item just showed up as "sold" for a day, and now it's back (I wasn't particularly looking for it, it just showed up on my feed).
At this point I've accepted I'm not getting this, but I'm just confused by the whole situation? Not sure if I've done something wrong 😭
Had the item up for some time and was happy with 12 just to get rid of it
My preferences used to show me only clothes in my size which was best because I saw stuff that could actually fit me and looked good, but recently its been only showing me stuff entirely not in my size which is annoying because ill see something really cute but it wouldn’t fit me.
And I keep checking its in my preferences for my sizes and its only selected the ones I wanted it to. I’ve toggled it on and off multiple times.
I just really get annoyed too because I struggle finding clothes my size in the style I like already so now this too just makes me hate scrolling because its just about to be disappointment with everything.
Oddly enough it works for shoe sizes though just not clothes.
They sent me a message about measuring the chest, then deleted it, so I asked if they still wanted it. I sent a picture of me measuring the dress and how big it was. It was 16”, but the fabric stretched quite easily, so it could have been 18”. They wanted 18”, so they wanted to cancel.
I didn't want any hassle at the moment, given uni exams, so I just cancelled it. Did I handle this right? It probably could've easily fit them.
It was really nice to have such a nice interaction on Vinted! Even though it took me a few days to measure the dress they were so nice and understanding
Reposting because I forgot to remove Pfp. 🤦♀️
i got these miss me jeans for about £10, which i thought was a massive steal, but after they arrived i realised they have stains on them and have seemingly been stitched up.
do u guys think these look fixable and wearable?
I favourited this top on vinted earlier but clearly didn't look at it properly. As I have just gone back to look at it and thought something looked really off. I then went on the person's account and saw the other image which I have included as this is even more obviously ai. Why are people doing this I can't understand why they don't just take photos of the item as the seller literally included photos of the item in the listing. This is so confusing to me?!
