£850 is absolutely criminal but if they manage to sell fair play to them😩

Purchased off her and she cancelled straight away & blocked me. Looking at her bio I had a lucky escape 😳
Do Vinted do anything about these Shein resellers? I feel like every item marked as no brand at the moment is Shein or Temu. Putting the item up at triple the cost is diabolical
Bought a small jewellery box that is literally on temu for a few quid. Made an offer, got a counter offer, all good! I purchase then abit later i get these messages. Annoyed but whatever, i still want it. She says she wants more for it, which i 100% believe is the real reason she cancelled. But i thought okay ill still buy it for abit more money, its now been relisted for £15!!!! 🙄 no chance im paying that! Sorry just needed to rant about it!
Update: He tried to argue again that it doesn’t work, and then i guess he accepted to send the watch back bc i got a message from vinted saying ill be able to track the order and if its not sent until the 13th, the full refund. Well it was indeed a scam, thanks for the help everyone!!!
I posted this watch on vinted for 10£, brand new i never even worn it as i have other 2 that are the same, and this person offered 6£ , i said the lowest i could go was 8 and they accepted. I packed perfectly in bubble wrap and all, and he then raised this issue. I tried working it out but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam as i looked at the photos he posted and you can see the second hand of the watch moving. Contacted vinted and now need to wait for a resolution. What are the chances they will actually see this image through?
I purchased a pair of designer Miu Miu sunglasses and paid £10 for them to be verified. The seller advertised them as being “genuine”. Vinted verified them, added a tag for confirmation and sent them to me. When I received them I realised they didn’t suit me so decided to resell for the price I paid. To my surprise Vinted removed them as counterfeit! I’ve been back and forth with their bot trying to get them to take responsibility which they won’t. I’m now left with a fake pair of sunglasses I paid £120 for. 😡 Vinted verification clearly means nothing.
I had a strange experience that feels kinda suspicious or at least rather strange I just had someone who i never interacted with (never brought or sold or even spoken to) buy one of my listings [it was manga) and than they suddenly cancelled it and when i checked their profile which i always do whenever people buy to make sure they're lagit they have repeatedly cancelled order's and have only 1 star ratings from repeated cancellations (pictured above) I'm not sure what is going on i have resisted the item and I have also blocked them no offence but i don't trust someone who has less then 3 stars or keeps canceling
Has this happened to anyone else before and was i right canceling
Note: also sorry if you are one of the people who left a review i tried to blur you out also reddit is asking to pick a flair but r/vintedUK has noun
Uh so i bought some p6000 of a seller and he accidentally swapped my label with another package so i received some boots instead of the p6000 the other buyer has already shipped the shoes i bought back to the seller but i still have the sellers other package and basically vinted told me to return it but i need a qr code from the seller but he dosent know how to get one and i dont know how to track his package when i send it and the guy said he will pay for my return by discounting the original item but i dont know how to return i went to my local shop and gave them the shipping adress but they said they need a qr code from vinted
I sold an electronic item recently and everything went super smooth. Buyer happy post was quick but they left this review and only 4 stars.
Is this normal thing ? What could I have done better to improve my rating?
Feels like sales have properly slowed down the last couple of weeks. Anyone else noticing it or am I just listing the wrong stuff? Wondering if everyone's on holiday or if there's a summer algorithm change.
I posted a LEGO® product on vinted and it sold within 10 minutes.
Why does this happen?
Scalpers?
I work in a charity shop occasionally and a girl I have on fb comes in and buys quite often, a lot of baby stuff specifically. Our baby clothes are all 20p per item in a big basket but I know she only has one baby and buys things definitely smaller than her baby is and also a lot of boys stuff all sizes when she has a girl.
Curiosity got the better of me tonight as I’d seen she’s shared her vinted on there before so I went and had a look. Ofc she’s selling stuff for way more than what she’s got it for, ranging about £3-£15.
I know it’s a side hustle and there’s nothing actually wrong with it but I can’t help feel it’s a bit scummy in a way, spending 20p and getting potentially so much profit. Am I being too judgy?? I always thought with the stuff being so cheap it was mostly helping parents who really need it as we do get some nice stuff in but knowing someone’s gaining so much…
I can imaging similar posts have been made but I’ve not seen any so just looking for opinions I guess, will probably forget until I see her next anyway
Instant edit after thinking about it from posting: my opinion may have changed already lol, she obviously is a parent and I doubt she’d be doing this if she was comfortable enough with money (unless he’s just keeping herself busy or something I guess) so she likely is a mother who it is helping but she’s found a way to gain more off it to get stuff for her baby still, I think I just answered my own question
So here is my experience as buyer in vinted, i dont usually buy anything in vinted but this time i saw sony earbuds which had price of 5€ in vinted, i looked up the google and brand news were around 150€. I asked the seller if they were sure about selling them cheap he said he just wants the money so i bought them, and when i received the earbuds they seemed to be the right model but had some battery issues. I thought it would end but the seller kept messaging me to give them back because his parents got to know about it and wanted back, so the seller was kid. In that time I was repairing the earbuds for 40€ for battery replacement and the seller told me he wants them back but he is not paying for the repair or shipping, i tried telling him thatsince i repaired them in my own expense i can give earbuds back but i dont want my money to be wasted so the seller should oay me 20€ instead of 40 because the earbuds are now perfectly working, seller refused all and told me to come to different city and give the earbuds back or he will make police report about me scamming him i refused and blocked him but he leaved some nasty review about me scamming him of earbuds.
Clearly it was the sellers fault because he did not understand rules of vinted,
This is partially my fault for getting too excited seeing a camera priced this low and only realizing later on that it came from an empty account
Luckily, the tiny package arrived just before i went to work so i was able to report it right away. Hopefully I could get my money back.
I’m more concerned about what to do with this GLP-1 thing and if it’s just safe to dispose of it. It’s currently just sitting on my workdesk.
So, I have been selling my clothing and my children's clothing on vinted for a few years now and have never had any issues before. Uploaded a set the other day and I've been banned definitively. I have appealed this of course, but have now been waiting a week to hear back from them. Anybody else been blocked for absolutely ridiculous reasons?!? How long did it take to have your accounts reinstated?
Someone wants to buy some shoes from me, but this is their profile, with zero reviews. I’ve not been selling in a while so is this a new type of scam profile? location in melbourne aus is very strange to me.
