Is it worth to buy a flagship? Phone recommendations

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a new phone as the current one - Motorola edge 40 - has some issues with software and generally I'm not satisfied with the battery of the phone.

What I'm looking for is a phone that will:

- have a battery that will last all day and some more

- lasts 5 years

- takes decent photos from holidays

- have smooth OS without many bugs

- have no bloatware/ads

I'm not a heavy user. What I use mostly phone for is music, some apps, YouTube, Netflix, web browsing and messaging. Also, I'm not a photo freak and won't obsess of every detail on pics.

I am familiar with the current state of the market as I am looking for a new phone for a long time - just can't decide on one.

I was considering buying a flagship phone this time as previously I was thinking that mid-range will last me longer.

In my case is it worth buying flagship? Or should I go for some mid/premium range? And which one do you recommend?

I don't really have a budget, just don't want to overpay for things that I won't use.

Will consider every recommendation but not sure regarding iPhones. I never had one and when I tried log onto my brother old phone I couldn't do it - even though had everything.
