Hi all.

I got really into ham radio during covid but haven't been active the last few years for various reasons. But im getting back into it and looking to install a radio into my new (to me) car. A 2024 Mazda 3.

Im just starting to do research, but am curious what others would suggest. Price is not a major concern, but would love to keep it under $1500, unless there is really good reason to go over.

Ive generally ran Yeasu radios, but willing to look into other brands.

P.S. Thank you to those pointing out some details I forgot. Im thinking a VHF/UHF setup.

Not sure when this happened, but all my friends seemed to get married and are just too busy to chat. Looking for some people to help fill the gap and build new relationships with.
