Hey everyone. So, I had to replace the top screen of my Thor this week, which required me to open it up and disassemble a few things. I was able to fix the screen and put it back together, however, both my joysticks are unresponsive now.

I figure it’s probably because I didn’t plug the joystick ribbon cables all the way back in. Because they’re so small and fit at an awkward angle, I was having a lot of trouble getting it to fit back the way it originally was.

Does anyone have a method or trick to get the ribbon cables back in fully? I feel like I’m missing something lol.

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’ve been recently experiencing issues with the top screen over the last few months. AYN already has a new screen in route, and I plan to take it to a repair shop instead of installing myself.

My question however, is it as simple as asking them to replace the screen and giving them the disassembly video AYN provided? Or is there more I should be providing (especially if they haven’t encountered the device before)?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience taking their devices to a local repair shop?
