It still seems to me that the cocoon is the best Frontend for two screens.

Although I really liked IiSU, and used it in my RP6, I didn't like how it looked in Thor.

Hey all! I've been building PokeDaisy, a GBA player for the Thor made for Gen 3 Pokemon and ROM hacks. The game runs on the top screen. The bottom screen is a live companion that reads your game's memory as you play, so it always shows your real party, bag and battle, drawn in the game's own menu style.

Features

• Party: HP, levels, status. Tap a mon for stats, moves and its weaknesses
• Battle: opens on its own. Shows move effectiveness, the foe's weaknesses, the best mon and move for the fight, and the trainer's remaining team. Also has touch buttons to fight, switch or run
• Map: the region map with you on it. Tap any place to see its name
• Dex: seen/caught, with full entries
• Guide: spoiler-free (hints first, answers on a second tap). What's catchable here, the next gym leader's team, evolutions, "where is" and "stuck?"
• Bag, Trainer Card, and 10 save-state slots with screenshots
• Customizable tabs: pick which ones show up in the tab bar
• Smart fast-forward: drops to 1x in menus and keeps battles fast
• Fast-forward music without the chipmunk sound (alpha)
• Save states with undo, full button remapping, themes, and an optional status bar
• Saves are normal .sav/.srm files, so you can share them with RetroArch
• Library with SteamGridDB cover art

Supported games: FireRed, LeafGreen, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire, plus hacks: Unbound, Radical Red, Gaia, Odyssey, Heart and Soul, Amethyst, Lazarus, Seaglass, Too Many Types 2, Emerald Rogue and more. Any GBA game plays, but the companion needs one of these.

Still a work in progress. Not every hack supports every feature yet. Some have no battle tab or guide, and some maps show place names only. The README has a table of what works in each game.

It's free and open source, with no ads, accounts or tracking and it updates itself. Built with AI assistance (code is fully reviewed and tested). Bring your own ROMs. Made for the Thor. It should also work on the Retroid Pocket Duo, but I haven't tested that.

The dual screen action is just amazing 😮‍💨 watching a show while I game?! I’m in love 🙂‍↕️❤️

If not, then what would be? I know there isn't a real answer to the question, but if you were forced to choose one, I'm not sure what else could fit it. Sure PC handhelds can do more but DS isn't the best experience on them.

Also if you have a single handheld you'd prefer over the Thor I'd like to know why!

Just a reminder to everyone. Maybe it's not vital or critical. But I'm a batch 1 owner we have had our thors for over a year now. I did the thermal putty mod day 1 with my Thor. So I decided today was the day to check the putty again. Most of my putty was pretty dry and crumbly so I redid it again. Temps are back really low again. Playing luminescent platinum and holding steady at 50c. Just a reminder to maybe check your own putty and or redo it!!!

I just wanted to show off this lavender charm I made for my thor, it turned out quite long but I think it looks really cute!

Before you think I’m stupid, I’ve heard that turning off your Thor fully can be harmful to your batterys health unless you don’t plan on turning it back on for a few days. I wanted insight if this is true or not. I feel like I’m only using my Thor once every couple of days now, and I feel like sleep mode is unnecessary. So, is it safe to fully power off my Ayn Thor? Or should I leave it on sleep mode. Thanks for any answers in advance.

Really mad at myself because I freaking baby this thing and never move it outside of a case. Unfortunately I went to pick up the case this morning and it wasn’t zipped, out slips the Thor onto the floor on its corner.

Only damage I see is a tiny crack by where it landed - photo makes it look much bigger than it is.

Beating myself up pretty hard over this, and I just really need to hear some reassurance that I’m not cooked and this isn’t going to end up destroying it later and everything is still fine.

Fazem 6 meses que adquiri meu Thor e devo dizer que nunca usei tanto um videogame em toda minha vida. Ele já percorreu milhares de quilômetros do meu lado em diversas viagens e nunca me decepcionou, zero problemas.

Nesse tempo todo poucas vezes ele ficou ocioso, apenas quando eu estava indeciso sobre o que jogar e de fato, na minha opinião é o melhor console que existe, bom, pelo menos o melhor que eu já tive.

Possuo um alienware onde jogo jogos mais pesados da steam e gamepass, um ps5 para jogar os exclusivos e o thor que supre todo o resto. NINGUÉM precisa mais do que isso, é absolutamente o necessário, acredito eu.

Vocês concordam?

Decided to look up dock station for these things. When I saw they go for almost $100 for the style I wanted, I decided to hit up a friend and have him print me the parts. Just assembled it, and I’m in love.

My brother found my Ayn Thor and messed with the settings on Eden and idk what to do please help :(

Does any one of you guys encounter this kind of problem with your ayn thor ? I got my thor 2 weeks ago and last night i played pokemon arceus and got this issue. I tried everything, restarting, shutting it down and i even delete the Pokemon game in eden. Im using cocoon front end, do you guys think it’s because of the cocoon or there is something wrong with the hardware. Thank you guys in advance.
