Work Done

After a week of work, I managed to leave it my way.

I really like the freedom of customization that the IISU provides, I took a long time to use it, but now I want to put it on all my laptops.

These prints are from my Retroid Pocket 6 (black).

Starting with personalization!

I received the device two days ago and since I am addicted to customization I started putting a cool front end, and scraping the games.

But I still want to open up and change some things on the device.

I found it very interesting what I saw here in the sub, some users put Hold MagSafe on the back.

If they have suggestions, they can talk, as long as it does not reduce portability.

I am a LoFi Person

I have some handheld, among them releases like Thor and RP6, and some older, of the retroid brand so I have several... MiniV2, Rp4 Pro, RPFlip 01... But I've always liked the Retroid Pocket 3, I like the firmness of the buttons, how light and compact it is and slim. I recently got his Official Grip, I just loved it, and I really liked the full Black style.

So I decided to revive it, to play more, especially PSP.

And I went to change the frontend, I found RetroHrai and I really liked how it looked, to the point but still very aesthetic.

He looks like an improved Beacon with more features.

I think I did a good job...

And you? Do you prefer practicality or aesthetics?

Overkill

I have Mini V2, exclusively for retro games, at most up to PS1, a little overkil I know, considering the processor. But playing Gameboy Color on his OLED screen, and with shaders, is very good. I do not regret having picked up this device and I think that depending on the purpose of the person it is still an excellent option, very compact, very comfortable, very powerful, and with a beautiful screen.

O Switch lite ainda é Incrível.

I simply decided to revisit some classics that are available for the Switch Lite and I did not regret it, I recommend these handhelds to anyone who asks me, the Switch Lite is so capable when compared to its size that I am still surprised.

Here at a family party (a little boring) and starting my campaign on my favorite Assassin's Creed.

Retroid Dock + RP6 + 8BITDO = Nostalgia

I posted a few days ago my perfect trio of RP6+RPMINI+AYNTHOR and said, My use of Retroid Pocket 6 was mainly ps2, a platform I love! And I usually play it a lot on TV using the retroid dock, and of course in ps2 games I do not disable BIOs.😅

My Perfect Trio

I’ve been collecting handhelds for quite a while now, and I’ve always liked having at least two devices with different purposes. For a long time, my perfect combo was the Retroid Pocket 5 + Trimui Brick. Eventually, I replaced the Brick with the RP Mini. I know, it’s a bit overkill to use the Mini mostly for PS1 and below, especially focused on Game Boy, but it’s practically the same size as the Brick and the screen is just incredible.

When the Thor launched, I had to get one. It filled the last big gap in emulation for me: proper DS and 3DS support. Later, I replaced the RP5 with the RP6, and today this is my perfect trio.

Mainly using them for:

RP Mini: Retro games up to PS1 — SNES, GB, GBC, Genesis, NES, PS1, and it fits perfectly in the Retroid dock for TV gaming.

Thor: It’s basically my “Big N” machine. 3DS, DS, Wii, Wii U, GameCube, and Switch.

RP6: Mainly PS2, but also Android games, GameHub, Switch, and a lot of TV gaming through the dock.
