Aaaaaaannd it won’t turn on anymore

I haven’t dropped it, ran it hard, anything. It had like 85% battery when I closed it but then it never would turn back on. This device has had this similar issue, but after trying to turn it back on, it would always turn back on. Was super annoying that it was happening so often but I was dealing with it. Now, nothing. No leds, no lights, nothing. I have a replacement on the way, and I am hoping I have a much better experience with the new one.

Native aspect ratio is great, but the square display gives 4:3 gaming so much more room for customization.

Debloating or Removing Apps - Any Recommendations?

On the Stock OS that came with my Rotate are some odd apps that I figured that I didn't need, but I wanted to double-check with other users to get an idea of what I should be looking for.

I'm waiting for the Gamma password to be released to the public before I spend money on it, otherwise that would be my option rather than debloating what Anbernic gave us.

RG Rotate Hotkey config

Got RG Rotate as my first android handheld and I'm still it the confused phase with releatiom with this thing. I'm used to have my home/middle button used as a hotkey for quick saves, FF, rewind etc. On my Miyoo mini this works perfectly. Now with android, the button basically works just as a quit to desktop/launcher function if it's being held for more than half a second. Tried to use to Button Mapper but the long press to desktop always prevails even when remapped through the app.
So is the button usable just for opening retroarch menu? Should I get used to some different hotkey combo just for this device? How do you do it guys?

Just joined the party

I’ve been bringing my Odin 3 everywhere with me but I would rather have something that fits in my pocket and allows me to game on the go for titles like these. Of course I will be on my odin 3 more than anything, but this little thing will be with me in the wild while I leave my sweet baby odin 3 safely in the glove box.

GammaOS

Has anyone installed GammaOS NEXT?? If so can you share the 'UnisocTOOLS' you used to flash the pac?? I'd really appreciate the help. It looks like the github tools are broken and I cannot even open them after extract. Thank you in advance!

I'm thinking about buying an Anbernic to play RPG Maker games with Joiplay and I've come across the RG Rotate, which I think might be a good option given its size and the selection of games I'd like to play outside of Joiplay so my question is, how does Joiplay perform on the console?

Socket Frontend on RG Rotate

In case you guys are wondering about the Socket frontend on the RG Rotate, well… at this stage, it’s still pretty slow, as you can see. But everything seems to be working properly, the main issue right now is just the performance.

PSA if you’re looking for a case.

For anyone looking for a case, you might be looking for a bargain, wanting to try one in person, or you might already have one consider a point and shoot camera bag. I found this Canon branded Golla camera bag at a photography store and they were practically trying to give it away. It does a good job at protecting the RG Rotate and it came with a carabiner and a lanyard/adjustable shoulder strap.

Rotate runs 3DS better than I thought.

Doing some tests last night. I really liked the result. It won't run everything, but simpler things and pixelart are great. And the screen doesn't get that small.
