Captain Fired After Sinking The Boat - Calls it a "Tough One"

Captain of a tour boat was fired after only 1 year on the job. He was sailing the boat on Lake Michigan in Milwaukee when the boat struck a dock which was owned by an old Brewing company. Reports say the vessel started to sink after the hit caused 22 holes and the boat began taking on water rapidly. The Captain told reporters that the crew "really battled" to keep the boat afloat. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do. In response to what he could do better next time the Captain said, "y'know that's just sailing."

Brainstorming ways to unfuck the team

Vibes are bad. Offense is allergic to scoring. Fielding sucks. Pitching ain't that great right now either.

Last year we had just lost 6 of 7 and were 3.5 games back of the Houston Astros when the Etsy Witch was paid to unfuck the team. We then went 17-4 to end the season and win the division.

Right now we're 4 games back of the Houston Astros and we desperately need to turn it around quickly. Obviously we can't do the Etsy Witch thing again, that won't work. So my question is, what can we do to unfuck the team? Send the clubhouse some pizzas? Do we need to get Gina involved? I'm sure you guys have some better ideas than me.

The last time the Seattle Mariners won a baseball game at Dodger Stadium

This means we're due, right? Right?

The Mariners are 2-11 this season playing on artificial turf

1-6 @ Rangers

0-3 @ Marlins

1-2 @ Rays

It may not mean anything, but it's interesting how much we've struggled playing on these fields this year. We're 50-44 in all other games playing on grass.
