First time, Friday only

Two ladies in our 30s, tickets were a xmas gift from my friend's husband. We had a blast, and learned a lot.

🍹Security was a lot more lax than expected (thankfully). Twenty bucks a drink is bananas. Bought one cutwater and then drank/smoked our own. Enjoyed a ton of food, noodles, dumplings, egg rolls, fries. The water stations were awesome IMO even if we did have to walk a bit to get to them.

🎶The only band I really wanted to make sure I saw was Halestorm since they seem to tour as openers for bands I'm not willing to spend the money seeing, and they killed it! The rest I left up to my friend since the tix were her xmas present, and I was happy to float from set to set and catch a couple songs from a lot of bands. I loved that they played other stages on screens while setting up for the next band.

🚗 After reading all the horror stories about parking I definitely feel like we made the right decision to ride share. The few extra bucks is worth not dealing with traffic. We didn't use the rideshare area, opting to walk a couple blocks and get out of the madness before ordering.

Thanks to those who posted before the fest, and to Steveemme's video about what to bring. I pretty much used everything I brought and didn't feel like I was missing anything.

Would definitely go again! Next time I think I'd skip some bands I'm familiar with in favour of checking out some new tunes.
