What is it like to play Mizuki, Brigitte or Baptiste against skilled players?

For example, Bastion stomps bad players but can be easily overrun against players with significant skill. That's a very big difference in how it feels to play the hero. Another example could be a hero devolving entirely down to landing one skill when otherwise you can't do really anything against skilled players.

I imagine Brigitte against skilled players could be very much whipshot all day and rotating with the shield, as I don't think anybody will engage Brigitte guarding a position without ensuring they can overcome her. Against bad players as Brigitte (and bad myself) I just wreck whole teams flanking with my melee range.

I don't really know of how these heroes might change in playstyle as I practice them.

Any insights from experienced players of Mizuki, brigitte or Baptiste? (or what you've seen playing against skilled ones?)

If my tank is racking up damage or diving into the enemy pretty much solo, it is my choice about how much I leave their survival in their own hands, if I have the space to even make that choice of healing them.

If my alternative is to off-angle or flank, are there certain things I should observe to make that decision?

And when would it generally be better to do something other than pumping heals to farm my ult, if my tank is being focused?

I want to be ready for the worst case scenario of having 2 of my supports banned and 1 picked by my ally which would require me to have a 4th backup support I have experience with. Even if it's currently unlikely to see both Mizuki and Wuyang banned, I'm looking for long-term learning and the beneift of having alternatives to swap to strategically.

Which supports have the most skill overlap with Mizuki and/or Wuyang?

I'm really struggling with finding support heroes that are not grossly too boring for me (e.g. Moira, Mercy) or extremely difficult when enemies are pretty good (Ana, Kiriko, Brigitte, Zenyatta), or really hectic or high APM (Baptiste, Ana). It's like there haven't been enough support heroes released yet at medium difficulty.

I've recently started playing OW so I'm a beginner, but I've found three characters I really enjoy. Could you share some insights on when to choose each of them?

What strengths they have over each other and what are they weak against?
It seems to me like all of them have moderate or tricky but strong ways to deal with a diver tank or DPS. And I probably shouldn't pick Wuyang vs aerial heroes. Ana's ult feels like the hardest for me to get value from.

Would map choices matter a lot between these three? Are there some maps where all of these would be particularly weak compared to some other supports?

If I kept practising these three, what would be the gap in my choices where I would struggle or even mostly lose?
