I accidently attached an expectation to meditation.What Do I do?

I use meditation before studying because it calmed my mind and I was able to study in a better relaxed manner.

Now due to this an expectation/habit has formed were during meditation thoughts what I am gonna study after keeps popping stressing me out and due to stress I cant meditate and due to not meditation I cant study properly now

Does anyone has any solutions?

During mantra meditation many times My mind is too scattered and feels like is overflowing with thoughts like a high speed stream through a pipe.

But as continue to do the meditation I am able to reduce the flow of the steam, so it becomes more gentle and managable and during this managable flow I am able to attain no mindness for few moments(very short time)

I get worried that what i am doing is still of the mind and not at the universe/ consciousness level.

I feel like I might be just slowing down my mind and not doing proper meditation i.e not doing the Spritualpart

Am I doing it right?
