as a local French wizard, I got acces to a lot of french creatures or critters (tarasques, gevaudan beasts, etc). if y’all need anything, tell me.

Why do we have such a bad reputation ? Some wizards say that we “don’t earn the powers“. to that I say that we have to learn occult knowledge too to summon a patron and we sacrifice for them, ranging from a couple thousands of louis d’or (sorry for,the weird currency, i reside in the frank kingdom) to a virgin’s soul. Furthermore, we aren’t inherently evil, since fiendish creatures aren’t the only patrons that exist out there. The stigma of Devil worshippers really hurt our reputation since I personally have a pact with a non devilish creature and even if I did, why would I do evil ? I want no part in the unholy contract community. Also, if you need a scapegoat, might I suggest any commone born imbued with magic ?
